eating = sleepy?

My LO will never fall asleep after a feeding not even nighttime feedings.  He eats about 4 to 5oz at a time and never finishes his bottle.  Sleep is such a battle for him and he fights it all day and night.  There are times I think he is fake sleeping.  His eyes are closed and he is sucking on his pacifier but I can tell his breathing is not in that sleep state and he hasn't gone through the whole eye flutter/sleep smile.  I usually wait 30 min. before setting him down but he often wakes up because I don't think he ever really fell into that deep sleep even though his eyes have been closed for 30min..

Anyone else have this issue?

 Mine is such a faker too! I usually end up putting my little guy in his swing to lull him into a deep sleep, because otherwise he'll stay in this dreamy, half-sleep state forever. Once he's pretty much unconscious and passes the "limp arm" test I can transfer him somewhere else for the night.
