High chairs?

I never thought I'd be asking this question, but here I am :)

I planned to get the FP SpaceSaver but at Target a few days ago DH did not like it at all, and said he wanted a regular high chair.  He is really tall, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.

So I'm kind of at square one.  With DD I used a hand-me-down Peg Perego and then a cheap easy booster seat type thing on the chair.

I am basically looking for quality because we want at least 1-2 more kids closely following this one, and one that is as easy to clean as possible.  If anyone has a favorite I'd love to hear!

 TIA! :)

We have a keekaroo and love it. Its not super tall if that's a concern but its easy to clean, made of real wood, and now that DD is older we can take off the tray and sit her at the table with us without needing to buy a booster as well.

The OXO Sprout highchair is really high quality and works well for tall parents. It's worth checking out!

The Ikea Antilop! They are great, easy to clean and stand up very well...Ikea and a lot of places around here use them because they are the trifactor of high chairs...

1)Easy to clea

2)Hold up super well

3)Don't cost and arm and a leg

Oh and if you want to add number 4 they look nice too...not in your face and no crazy colors...ours is white, my parents have a red one to match their house.

We have the Oxo tot sprout and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. It blends in well with other furniture, it grows with the child, and everything you need comes in th box.. One of the reasons why we didnt get the Tripp trapp is not because of cost.. It just bugs me that everything that should come with a high chair needed to be purchased separately. Its almost like buying a car and getting the rear seats as an option.

We have this, too, and love it! I have a RAV4 and can toss it in the back without taking the legs off (easy, but, hey, one less step) and take it to SIL's house for dinner. It's so light I can carry it in one hand, yet it is still extremely sturdy. It's also incredibly easy to wipe up. DS seems perfectly comfortable in it.

I like having a separate high chair so that a) existing chairs don't get all dirty and food-covered, and b) there's an extra chair available for the adults.

I have had SEVEN different high chairs and finally found one that I actually like. It's called the Graco Simple Switch and it's relatively inexpensive too.

http://www.amazon.com/Graco-SimpleSwitch-Highchair-Booster-Pasadena/dp/B004Y9ALJI/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1352769318&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=graco+simple+switch+high+chair

The Pasadena color is pretty and has a grey tray (I'm sick of tan baby stuff).

The Boon Flair is cool, but doesn't recline and is very expensive. When you want the babies to take their bottles while you cook dinner, reclining is a must.

Same with IKEA Ektorp chair- it doesn't recline and the tray isn't adjustable, meaning you can't push it in all the way to the babies' bellies. There's a huge gap between their bellies and the tray and that's where all the food goes and onto your floor (once they start eating finger foods).

The Fisher Price Space Savers are TERRIBLE. Too many nooks and crannies in the arm rests and there is a gap at the crotch buckle where ALL the crumbs and food land. Also, the arm thingies that the tray snaps on to are so tall that they make it impossible to push the chairs up to the table. Therefore, you end up having to pull the chairs with the Space Savers on them out to the side, and they end up taking up just as much space as a regular high chair would except you also LOSE valuable chair seating for adults.
