Got into an accident

I swear, my lot with this pregnancy is going to be car accidents. This is the second one I've been in neither being my fault in the past two months. I called my Dr's office to see if twy could see me it wasn't a bad accident, but I was shaken up and the lady answering the phone said, "could you call back in ten minutes when we actually open?" "No, I'll probably be in the ER by then. I don't care the wait. Just let my doctor know I went to the ER." Luckily I am switching docs at the end of the month.

I came in, the ER was super quick at getting LO's heartbeat, an ultrasound showed him kicking around, and he looks fine otherwise. But because I was rear ended and my lower back is the only place that hurts they needed to do an Xray. I called my doc and she said I should be fine because it would be one quick shot and I was already 24 weeks. But I can't help but be a bit nervous... Any thoughts or prayers are appreciated... Ugh.. I swear, I hate drivers sometimes...

I'm glad it was minor and that you and baby are okay.  It sounds like a good plan to switch doctors.  When I had a minor fender bender, my doc got me right in (which is what I think a good doc would do).  I'm glad you were seen so that you could get some peace of mind.

So sorry you were in a MVA -- glad to hear that you and LO are okay. And I can't believe they actually answered the phone then asked you to call back! Glad to hear you will also change docs too-- you and LO are priority.... some Doc offices-- I tell ya Tongue Tied
