LO likes to be carried, not held

Does anyone else's baby do this? LO has been this way since she was a few days old: she loves to be carried. You don't even have to walk around, you just have to stand up with her in your arms, and she's happy. Yet the moment you sit down, even if you don't move her at all, she starts to protest! It makes no difference whether we sit down slowly, rock as we sit down, etc. Anyone else finding this?

DS was like this for months. We joked that he had a built-in altimeter.

Mama to 2 late-term preemies (7/10 & 11/12) due to HELLP Syndrome.

Yes!  My LO does the same thing.  I will get him to fall asleep in the Moby and I try to sit down and take a little break and he will wake up crying.  Yet he doesn't like the motion riding in the car, he screams his head off!  He is a difficult one :)

Did it stop on its own, or was there something you did? I love my little princess but sometimes I just want to sit down with her!

Lo is 11 weeks and still does not like to be still or for me to sit, however she is increasing the amount of time that she will let us put her down (vibrating chair, play mat, looking at mobile in her crib).

Yes! I can get away with sitting when she's totally out. I joked with my aunt that I'm going to wear away a patch of our flooring in the living room and her bedroom from walking laps.
