Where to sell meds?

Does anyone know where you can sell leftover meds? I have 3 boxes left of menopur and our last injection was last night. We talked to our fertility center and they said we could post a sign to sell them, but I have a feeling this would take a very long time. They automatically order meds for the patients from Avella, so I don't think patients would see this as an option. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As far as I know it is illegal to sell meds!

IUI#1-3 = BFN
IVF #1 (EPP Antagonist); 3R, 2M, 1F; 3dt of one 12-cell embryo = BFN
IVF #2 (EPP MDLF); 6R, 4M, 3F; 3dt of 1-7 cell, 1-8 cell & 1-10 cell = BFP; confirmed C/P @ 4w2d
Genetic carrier screening negative (CF, Fragile X, SMA, Tay Sachs)
Karyotyping, autoimmune & thrombophilia panels all normal
IVF#3 (DE); 13R, 12M, 8F; 5dt of two “excellent quality” blasts = BFP
Beta#1 = 203, Beta #2 = 81, Beta #3 = 17; confirmed C/P @ 5w1d

Selling prescription meds is illegal. I'm shocked your center would advise you to do that. You can donate meds to others. My doctor's office does this frequently.

I've seen ads on craigslist, however, Im fairly certain it's illegal to sell medication.  You might be better off donating it back to your fertility clinic to help someone thats OOP.

Me:28 DH:28 TTC since 1/11 Dx: unexplained IF/early DOR
Feb'12- Clomid/TI with CD3 &21 labs(normal)& SA-count 6mil/ml,morph/motil OK-BFN
April'12 Ultrasounds,HSG -clear, slight acurate uterus
5/14 IUI #1-50 mg clomid-post wash total motile count 19.3 prometrium 2dpiui= BFN
6/11-IUI #2-100 mg clomid & prometrium post wash count total motile 17.5 = BFN
7/6 IUI#3 with 100 mg clomid, estridiol, prometrium. post wash total motile count 23.3 = BFN
8/30IVF#1 BCPs, Follistim, Menopur,Ganerelix,Novarel.
ER 9/11-8R, 7M, 5F.
ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
IVF#2 BCPs, Follistim, Menopur, Ganerelix, Novarel, Baby Aspirin
ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
2/13- Saline sono revealed a polyp. All additional labwork coming back normal. Genetic screen revealed DH has MTHFR deficiency & I am a carrier for it.
3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy
3/27 Began working with Reproductive Immunologist Dr. Kwak-Kim. Found High NK cells, High DHEAs, slight hypothyroidism, tendency toward blood clots (High PAI-1)Began synthroid & metformin 4/19.

Reading more online it says it is illegal to sell or give any meds.... I had no idea. I guess I will just get rid of them after this cycle is done.

You can donate them to your REs office and they can disperse as needed.  I'm a receiver of donated meds and it was a huge financial savings to us.

^ This.  I would hold on to them if they are within date and until you know 100% that you won't need them. I learned the hard way about blind optimism. If you truly do not need them, contact the OOPmeds person on TB. Donate! Lots of people have no coverage for meds or treatments, and every little bit helps.
Me: 31, PCOS (insulin resistance) TTC since 05/11. DH: 31 Great SA after multivitamins and diet improvements 6/25 IUI #1 cancelled IVF #1 w/ICSI on 8/23 CANCELLED due to ovulation. IVF #1.2 BFN 11/6 3 snowbabies. FET #1 12/20. Beta 12/31-BFFN FET #2 scheduled for 6/12. Everyone WELCOME!!
