Hello!

I was wondering if anyone else has been in my shoes. H and I didnt not plan our first pregnancy (we do not regret, our DS is our WORLD), but I was 18 and we werent married. So anyways we ended up married and are happier than ever. We have been trying for about 6 months and no such luck, but I feel as if my body just wants to be difficult... with DS our first and only time without a condom and BAM and now nothing.

BTW: I know this isnt crazy long or anything, Im just impatient and want a baby NOW! lol

Did any of you not try and get pregnant then you try and nothing??

cycle 6: break cycle
cycle 7: break cycle becuase of a dumb big cyst.

Yes. With DS I got off BC and was pregnant 2 months later. We had a m/c in April. We just started not trying, not protecting at that time. Now that we are trying, charting; opk; timed sex, it's taking some time.

I can't offer much advice other than learn patience and look into charting. GL!

edit: to answer your question: I got pregnant with DD on birth control. I am on my second cycle trying for a sibling for her.

My DH and I planned on starting to try for our DD for the following month after we got pregnant, so we were a little surprised. I'm not expecting to get that lucky this time around. I'm not sure how or why that stuff happens but GL!

Welcome and good luck! I have no advice or answers but just wanted to say hi.

Me 26 // DH 29
TTC since November 2011
blood work & HSG all clear
DH's SA : Normal
Diagnosed with "unexplained infertility" January 2013
Cycle 16: 50mg Clomid + IUI = Ended in chemical pregnancy
Cycle 17: 100mg Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFP!! EDD 12/19/13

I would say start temping if you don't do that already and using OPK's.  I wish I would have started temping and using OPK's when we first started TTC.  Welcome and good luck.

As others have said, try charting. Also find a hobby to help take your mind off TTC.

I got pregnant on our 2nd try with DD...we are now on cycle 3 trying for a sibling. While there was a big part of me hoping it would happen as quickly as the first time, I know better. I know it it is hard to be patient, especially when it happens so fast or even unexpectedly the first time. All I can say is to cherish the time with your first one in the meantime...it helps to put things in perspective.

Mh and I were very surprised when we became pregnant right after we got married. I ended up with a MC so I started lurking here. I was surprised at how much I did not know about my body. We were very blesses and I got pregnant 4 months after my mc. We have been ttc number 2 for 4 months now. All I can say is to learn as much as you can about your body and hopefully it will come soon

I was on BCP when I got pregnant with my DD 18 years ago, Dr. says I'm healthy and should still be fertile and things will just happen.  Of course I'm with a different man than I had my DD with oh so long ago, so who knows where his fertility is at or if mine has changed at all in the years since...but we've only been trying for a few months now so we'll see how it goes.  I've definitely learned a lot here and appreciate all the advice and support, my efforts at TTC should be more purposeful now that I'm charting and such!
