Back from ET and more emotional than expected

Just prior to the ET my RE came in to check in with me and I noticed something different about her.  Yep, she is pregnant. I think that she has been hiding it somewhat because I never noticed before.  Ughh.  I could imagine it is a bit awkward to show that belly to IF patients.  

 After the transfer she placed her hand on my shoulder and said "I know it has been a long journey for you and I wish you the best of luck." At that point I started tearing up.  Fingers crossed that it all goes well.

 

 
Married July '04 TTC since May '08 First visit to RE Oct '09 IUI #1 Feb '10 w/ Follistim injectable: BFP then MC within 2 weeks IUI #2 Apr '10 w/ Follistim injectable: BFN IUI#3 Aug '10 w/Follistim injectable: BFP then MC within 2 weeks IUI #4 Jan '11w/ Follistim injectable BFN IVF #1 Oct '11 w/ Gonal F injectable, 3 embryos to freeze IVF #1.5 Dec '11 w/ Gonal F and Menopur; 10 embyros, 4 normal after PGS. 2 transfered. 12/28 BFP 12/30 levels drop, adios BFP Last IVF Aug-Sept '12 Considering Adoption and IVF

That is a major blow. Seems almost unfair. My regular med doc got pregnant with her first baby in her first iui and now pregnant with baby number two from iui. When I first started seeing her, we were both starting the RE appointments. Then she tells me how lucky I am to be so young and have good egg counts when her numbers aren't good and she is ten years older. And I am always like, how am I lucky when you are on baby number two!!!
Me = 31 husband = 35 Married 6/27/2009 TTC since 8/2010 (off BCP since 8/2009)
Unexplained Infertility,I'm a Hemocromotons mild carrier, also have single mild copy of MTHFR
6/2010 FSH 7.2 4/2013 FSH 8.6 AMH 1.4
I have primary lymphedema in my right leg which as far as I know, is not affecting my IF but not many studies out there.
7/2011 Natural cycle with 25mg clomid BFN
8/2011,1/2012,3/2012 IUI #1-3 25-100mg clomid BFN
6/2012 IVF#1 9ER 5 fertilized 2ET ICSI & assisted hatching BFN
8/2012 IVF#2 FET 2ET BFN
11/2012 IVF#3 7ER 5 fertilized naturally!!!! My hubby can fertilize my eggs :) 11/11 2ET 2 of 5 embryos made it to 5dt
11/19/2012 8dp5dt BFP beta 53 p4 7, PIO shots started ,11/21 beta 138 p4 29! 11/26 beta 698 11/29 beta 1942 12/3 beta 6640

1/17/2013 Chromosome testing came back as normal male :(
1/19/2013 RPL testing normal
4/3/2013 SIS showed asherman's syndrome caused by D&C (scar tissue)
4/4/2013 Hysteroscopy to remove scar tissue
June 2013 IVF planned
5/12/2013 SURPRISE BFP! Natural cycle 12dpo beta 93 progesterone 43 5/20/2013 15 dpo Beta #2 466!!! Progesterone 57 5/22/2013 Beta #3 *****ALL WELCOMED*****

My RE has a huge belly. It sucked the first time I heard she was pregnant, which luckily wasn't today. Today was my ET too. Good luck!

Happy ET day to you!!!! I can only imagine how hard that must have been to find out that your RE was expecting, especially to find out today. Sending prayers your way that this is it for you.  Rest up and let those embies snuggle in!!! GL!!!

Married and TTC since November 2010 SA Normal, HSG Normal, B/W Normal = Unexplained IF
5 Failed IUI's Moving onto IVF, Stims Start 10/27, ER 11/5=27 eggs!, 23 mature, 1 Fertilized WTF?? Rescue ICSI on 12 and we had 3 more fertilize. Transfered 2 on 11/9. Beta on 11/23.
