Generic diapers?

Hello all! Currently using Pampers diapers but looking to budget a lil and considering generic. Anybody using a generic they can recommend? I am a SAMs member. Anybody try theirs? Thanks.

I use LUVS and I actually like them better than the name brand diapers. They, in my opinion, leak less fit her better and I like the smell. I also like the price. Huggies $12 LUVS $6.

I use generic diapers during the day and pampers during the night. Pampers hold more.

If your LO takes any substantial naps DO NOT use parents choice. He can pee through one in the matter of 1.5 hours. Can't wait to be rid of them and just use my pampers.

We use luvs. They are a good diaper and even cheaper than targets diapers.

I LOVE the Parents Choice diapers. I've been using them with DS1 since he was about 6mo old. Once I used up all the Pampers and Huggies that I had stocked up on while I was pregnant with him I tried the Up Up and the PC and stuck with the PC. I hate Luvs b/c IME they turn into little water balloons and Huggies are too narrow in the front for a boy. Once this little guy gets into size 2's I'll probably go from the swaddlers to the PC for him as well. Every kid is different even among siblings so you'll get a handful of votes for every kind of diaper here. My advice is to bite the bullet and buy a couple different brands until you find one that works for your LO. I know the PC and U U are like 6 for a small pkg here and the way they go through diapers at this stage they'll go through them fast if you hate them and you're not breaking the bank.

I'm not a SAMs member, but Costco, and I use their diapers and love them. Tey have the wetness line like pampers as well.

Up& Up (Target)  for sure. I also like their wipes too.

We're using Parent's Choie right now and they're fine...not my favorite, but fine. They don't seem very absorbent, so I have to change him more often but no leaks so far. The Walgreens brand are okay, but can't handle explosions very well so be careful. I think next time I'll check out Luvs, b/c I've heard they're the best of the inexpensive. If we had more money I would just stick with Pampers Swaddlers but I really can't justify it for the long term Sad

Luvs! We have used them for DD since she was 2 months old (they don't come in preemie and she needed them until then) and have NEVER had an issue.

Now our DS is using them as well. We used the pack of Huggies the hospital sent us home with and then switched to Luvs.

If you have a Target near you watch for their sales... sometimes they have the big cases on sale for $16.99 and if you buy 2 you get a $10 Target gift card to use on anything. So they really come out to $11.99 a case, awesome deal!

I bought a small pack of Target's Up & Up brand and I like them!  I've been using their sensitive wipes, too.  I will eventually switch to cloth and want to keep the cost of disposables as low as possible until I do.
