Another just for fun girl post

DH and I vary greatly in our taste for names.  Like I've said before on here, he would prefer Makayla, while I would prefer Josephine.  Just wanting some other opinions since not one of this names stand out as a frontrunner.  LO is Eli.

Our main criteria was supposed to be names not too popular, but this has kind of gone by the wayside.  The other is that I like names that age well.

What is your favorite out of these names?

DH and I both agree on these names, although a couple I do have reservations about.  We don't have a MN set in stone, but we have several female family names to choose so I'm not concerned with FN/MN flow right now.

Is your husband set on the spelling of Makayla? That looks so trendy to me.  The correct spelling is Michaela or Micaela.

IF I would agree to Michaela I would only agree to the spelling of Michaela.  He thought I was crazy.  I think he thinks its spelled Makayla or Mckayla or Mikayla...WHATEVER.  I think I wouldn't dislike it if it wasn't such a trendy name and one, for all of the girls with the name I've seen IRL, that is spelled wrong all.the.time.

I voted for Natalie. If it wasn't so popular that's what we'd be naming this LO. (Not only is it popular overall but I have too many friends with kiddos names Natalie).

That said, I think it's a beautiful name and it ages well.

I'm a Micaela so I just CRINGE when I see it spelled Makayla, McKayla,etc.  It actually changes the pronunciation slightly.
