Alcohol

When did you/will you ladies stop drinking? So far I have stopped all alcoholic beverages as soon as I am nearing my FW. Am I just being paranoid? Is it okay to have a glass of wine or two with dinner? What do you do?

Just so you know, this is asked about 3 times a week. Most people he drink till its pink (they get a positive HPT). Do what you are comfortable with

I drink until I get a BFP. Commonly known here as "Drink until its pink".
You should be fine.

I don't get piss poor drunk during the 2WW. Then again, I haven't gotten piss poor drunk in 10 years lol.

I don't ever get sloshy drunk, but during my TWW I don't have a problem with having a drink with dinner.  As soon as I get that second line though, I'll stop drinking.

Some people won't drink at all, you just have to figure out what you think is best for you and your situation.

I plan to drink until I get my BFP. I think it depends on the person. I dont get wasted when I drink, I usually have 1 to 3 drinks a few times a week maybe. So I dont really feel guilty or think it makes much of a difference for my fertility.

I have decided to lay off the alcohol this cycle, but that's mostly just to try something different as I'm on my 7th cycle. I really don't think a glass or two of wine will make much difference, but you've got to do what you are comfortable with.

I'm ok with a glass or two of wine, although I have it so seldom it's pretty much a non-issue for me anyways. I would definitely not get sloshed during the 2WW, but I can't see a drink or two hurting anything.

I normally drink till it's pink, but considering I haven't ovulated in forever I'm treating this cycle with kid gloves. I'm not drinking this time, but I think it's okay to drink until you get a + if you want to.

TTC since October 2011.
DX with Non-IR PCOS in October 2012.
Missing RIGHT tube due to a prior surgery to remove cyst-zilla (40 lbs!) at age 12.
HSG showed tube was blocked - cleared by dye. DON'T DO CLOMID WITHOUT AN HSG!
Cycle #8 with 50mg Clomid & TI = BFN
Cycle #9 with 50mg Clomid & TI = No response.
Cycle #10 with Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel shot = BFN
Cycles #11 & 12 are unmedicated (No temping/testing/charting)

I'm drink till it's pink, however I wanted some wine the other night, but I was thinking I could O any day now.  I can feel how warm I get just from wine so I was afraid it would screw with my temp in the morning.  I was probably being over cautious, but after this long I am fine with skipping wine one night to make sure my temp is as accurate as possible.

I don't drink alcohol simply because I don't like the taste, but if I did I wouldn't have a problem drinking until my BFP.

I will drink until a + HPT, but I will be more cautious from 6 DPO until my period starts (when it is possible to be implanted). I don't see the point to stop during your fertile week, the egg will not be getting any nutrition from you.

My opinion is based on moderate drinking. Obviously, excessive drinking is never good for you and may hinder your fertility.

I don't stop drinking after O.  One of my good bumpie friends, CLE, does.

Do what you feel comfortable with.  If you're worried about it affecting implantation, then don't drink during your LP.

Wine is good for the heart and the mind! Especially after a hard day at work and when im thinking too much about ttc. Drink til it's pink! I think Fancy Pants Pinot Grigio is on the menu tonight.
