Jumparoo VS Saucer

I assume they serve the same purpose.  We receieved the Baby Einstein Neptune Saucer (http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Einstein-Neptune-Activity-Center/dp/B007IV17PQ/ref=pd_sxp_grid_pt_0_0) at the shower but I keep seeing things about jumparoos.

Any benefits for one over the other?

My thought when I was deciding was, both have toys and a seat that spins, but LO can jump in the jumperoo and not in the excersaucer. +1 for the jumperoo. Both of my boys have absolutely loved it.

The jumping is a big plus for me. Once they are old enough to use it and jump around, it's nice that they have an outlet for some of that energy. Anything for an easier nap.

We had both.  DD never jumped... lol.  Guess it depends on the child.

I liked the idea of baby actually being able to jump. We bought the Baby Einstein jumper from Toys R Us. They actually have them on sale right now for 74.99 and you can combine it with the for spend $75 and get a $10 giftcard. So I got the jumper and a cheap sippy cup to make up the total. It make the jump a pretty good deal in my opinion.

We have and had both for 3/4 of our kids.  I like the one that is staitonary (Exesaucer) as they can play)  However If you only have space for one I would do Jumperoo as if they don't want to jump, they can just not and sit there.

The exersaucers have more activities to keep the LOs entertained.  We ended up getting the rainforest jumperoo on everyone's recommendation and DD was never a big fan.  I wish we had gotten the exersaucer instead, but we just didn't have space for both. It just depends on the child. I recommend you get one used because they are another item that just gets used for 2-3 months.

If I had to pick just one I would say the Saucer because there is more to do in it. And keeps them entertained longer. We registered for a saucer and then SIL gave us their old Jumper. That being said he did enjoy both and spent a lot of time in both of them. But they both take up a LOT of space!!!
