my grandma says awkward things all the time. She constantly reminds me that I should "have a baby already". (She does not know we're actively TTC and has been at me to have a baby for about 3 years). She told me the other day that after two months of marriage she "thought she was barren and would NEVER have a baby!" - clearly she doesn't know much about the process.
But she old, has dementia and says much more offensive things generally, so I just smile and let her ramble on.
