US Voting while in late pregnancy / on modified bedrest

Since I am 35 weeks pregnant I asked the voting office are there accomidations for people who can't stand up very long.  I give myself 5mins tops..  They actually let me vote from my car!  They have a portable voting machine available to bring to people who can't wait in line.  So if you are concerned you may not be able to vote and didn't get your absentee ballot in.. I would call the voting office and see if they will allow you to vote from your car or at least let you get in the disabled line.

Good to know. I'll have to see what our polling place offers when I go around 4 today.  I would have done absentee but didn't get put on bed rest until this past Friday.

I wish I had known this! I was put on modified bed rest yesterday so I went in the afternoon today. Luckily there was only a short line and the attendants took me in the disabled line, but standing there filling out my ballot I was worried I would knock over the voting booth leaning so heavily on it
