I'm not into Venting but I felt the need to lol

I just want to know...why is it okay for people to be so quick to pass judgement  on others when they don't know their situation?

We as humans/women/mothers need to have as much compassion for people as we can. At one point women were not able to vote, work certain jobs, or give their opinion when it really mattered. And it seems like nowadays we are so good at putting others down instead of lifting them up. I know there are some people who really don't want to seek help or assistance but sometimes bad behavior is a call for help itself.

Let's continue to be supportive and understanding on this site. Perhaps some members are not happy with their current situation so they feel need to attack instead of engaging in a healthy conversation. I'm not perfect (no one is) but I think we should step up and be good role models when needed.

Sorry...just some things on my mind:)  Sending love, thoughts, and prayers out to everyone and have a memorable and joyful pregnancy!!

If I need a "good role model" in my life, I'm not coming to the bump to get it. If I need love, emotional support, or understanding, I have real-life friends and family for that. I think maybe some people just need to take it less seriously. It's just an online message board and hundreds of strangers.

Agree!  If you dont have anything nice to say/type, then don't bother responding. If you do decide to type something nasty, grow the F up.

The fourm is for information and support from women going through the same things you are.  There is no reason to be nasty to those who rely on forums like this - maybe they don't live close to friends and family.  

 
IVF# 1 with ICSI 05/02/2012 - Husband had surgery 07/13/2012 - Started BCP 07/31/2012 - Stopped BCP 08/02/2012 - Little Friend came and had trand vag echo and blood test 08/03/2012 - started Puregon 250UI a day 08/10/2012 - blood test and transvag echo. Continued with Puregon, added Orgalutron and Menopur 08/12/2012 - did regular meds in morn, Pregnyl trigger shot at 930pm 08/14/2012 - ER with only a shot of anesthetic to my whoha - OUCH -next time i will ask for general. They were only able to get at one ovary because the other is located too close to my intestines. 08/17/2012 - ET of 2 Grade A emryos. Dr said only two really good ones were available and if the others make it to blastocyst stage. 08/27/2012 - No call from doctor so we can assume nothing to freeze. 08/31/2012 - Beta #1 286.2 - I am pregnant! I'm not sure what your purpose is here, but it's a public message board. We aren't all best friends here and not everyone is going to agree with your opinions.  I honestly find posts like this annoying and sanctimonious.  Trust me, your not the first newbie to post something like this.  It usually doesn't go over very well.

Nope, this board is here to make money for the parent company - not for support. It's the internet, you can't tell people how they can and can't respond to things or how they should or should not act.

Because it's the internet, & everyone is ten feet tall & bulletproof.:)
I'm going out on a limb here & saying that 90% of everyone on TB that is always leaving snarky comments are actually wonderful people in the real world. The way I see it, everyone has their opinions, some may not be expressed in a way I would express them, but at the end of the day, you're not going to change someone's mind & honestly, someone else is probably not going to change mine either.
Reality is, people like the drama...which isn't too far off from the real world, actually now that I think about it! :)

Honestly, OP, this thread wasn't so bad that I'd even expect an alter, much less a whole new identity. But I haven't looked for the original one yet... Was it that bad? Not everyone will agree with you, no matter how many new identities you take on.

I am not Lila.  Not sure exactly why you thought that, but it's wrong.  I saw a post by Lila in the May 2013 board and went to this board to see what she was talking about and found this thread.
