Scary kicks!

The other day I was laying down on my back messing around on my phone and LO kicked so hard it SCARED ME TO DEATH. Didn't expect such strong kicks this early especially this being my first. I love it though! It happened again today, when LO kicks that hard I cant help but jump and yelp a little!! Anybody else have superhuman strength baby kicks? haha

I just started feeling definite movement last Monday.  I have had a few kicks/moves that moved my belly and that DH could have felt had he had his hand there.  I did think it was strange to go from almost not feeling a thing to feeling such big moves.  It makes me smile, though... until she's kicking me in awkward places!

Yep, lol. My LO keeps getting me in the ribs, and it almost kinda hurts. And to think, there's so much more of this to come!

The other day, I could swear LO was doing flips -- or karate. After saying, "Baby, it's not time to come out yet," the flipping stopped. Immediately. It cracked me up!

My LO likes to stretch, painfully! I think he/she is trying to stand inside me.  That, and this one will have the hiccups for HOURS at a time, lol!

It's funny you mention this because I had my first hard core kick/punch last night. After getting up to pee and coming back to bed, I felt a wham! It totally freaked me out, cuz I was half asleep!

lol yes! My baby boy I swear is trying to kick his way out already. But if you think the kicks are bad now, just wait until your 8-9 months along and you feel the movements on your lungs, feel feet through your rib cage, and head butts to your bladder. Oy! lol

Yes!  I have felt little movements for the last two weeks.  Yesterday, I got kicked so hard that my blouse moved and everyone around me could see!   DH put his head close to my tummy just to snuggle up and got kicked hard enough he had to move.  It was wonderful!

DS had a knack for kicking me in the ribs so hard he bruised them. I once heard a lovely "clunk". He also loved to stretch. After he was born he continued this behaviour and I was like "so THAT'S what you were doing in there".

I've had a couple that make me jump.  I was sitting with DH and my brother the other day and we were just talking.  Suddenly, bam!  I jumped and both men cracked up.

Same here...I was so focused on trying to feel those tiny bubbly-fluttery-movements that everyone had described and was starting to get discouraged after not feeling anything at 19 weeks. One Friday night while home alone, I was laying on the couch watching a movie and all of the sudden there was this karate-type kick flip combo and she hasn't slowed down one bit since. I still don't know what those little bubbly things I was searching for feel like but I do know I feel like a human bounce house...and it's wonderful
