Sorry you have to be here. I am also DOR and a very bad case of it, plus I am older than you. Have you had your CD3 FSH and E2 tested? You need that for the whole picture but with your AFC and AMH, it sounds like you are DOR. But you may respond OK to stims and get a handful of eggs. The good thing is your age. DOR doesn't mean your egg quality is bad so even though you produce only a couple of eggs, they may be great quality and will lead to your baby. I think it is very premature for your RE to talk about donor eggs. You know it's there but it should not be in the table. I wasn't ready for donor eggs until I failed 4 IVFS.
A lot of REs don't want to treat DOR because we are harder to get pregnant (or stay pregnant) and it hurts their SART stats. There are doctors though who will treat you. I traveled to a doctor out of state after I failed my 2nd IVF and the clinic kicked me out unless I did DE. So, if your doc mentions DE before even treating you, run!
There are several protocols for IVF that are generally used for DOR ladies. But I have seen more than a few ladies get pregnant naturally despite DOR so it does happen. You are just waiting for that one good egg.
There are a bunch of DOR ladies here including a weekly check in (I think it posted on Wednesday so look for it)
