Paragard question

I just had mine removed in mid oct. DH and I weren't planning TTC until jan. I am not asking u guys if I'm pregnant. Lol. I just wondered if anyone had a late period due to the removal of the iud? Mine is 3 days late and I will be POAS soon if AF doesn't show up in the next day or so.

It's normal for your cycles to be pretty whacky after coming off hormonal BC.

If I were you, and I thought AF was late, I would just test.

Paraguard is non-hormonal.

OP, you have have an off cycle every now and then.  Best thing to do is POAS.

I had my Mirena IUD removed October 1st. I still haven't had AF return.

Your body will probably be out of whack for a while. I started charting and ordered OPKs from Amazon to get a better understanding of my body.

GL

Edit: well seeing its nonhormonal didnt know that! Then POAS. ;

When I had my paraguard removed my cycle went back to normal. I had paraguard for 4-5 yrs. I had lots of breakthrough bleeding, heavier cycles, more cramping ect. but once it was out I felt a lot better and cycles went normal. Now I'm having whacky cycles and I don't think I'm ovulating anymore

I had the Paragard and got pregnant during the first month of it being removed. Though I had a m/c. It took a couple of months for my body to back to normal, being completely off a form of birth control.

Good luck to the world of POAS. It gets addictive!!
