DH SA (1/21/13) is perfect! 1st RE appt set for 1/30/13

what are you doing this month? New or old? Up until 2 days ago - I didn't think I was going to O. Non-medicated cycle. Sex and PNV's. It was kind of last minute, haha. As long we get some sex in, I'm happy.

Thoughts/raves/rants... Had pretty bad O pains on the side with my dominant follicle yesterday, all gone today. My next u/s isn't until Friday - So I will shoot for ED until then just to cover my bases.

gtky: when do you start decorating for Christmas...or do you decorate at all? I am a Christmas hore! Embarrassed I decorate RIGHT after Thanksgiving. I LOVE CHRISTMAS.
TTC#2 Since July 2011
Me: 29, had two blocked tubes - left was cleared during lap&dye, right was unable to be cleared. PCOS & Stage 2 Endo. DH: 31, SA = perfect.
CLOMID: 4 rounds, 50mg + TI = BFN's.
FEMARA: 1 round = no response.
12-24-2012 : Laparoscopy, Softball sized cyst/endo/scar tissue removed.
Cycle #14 - Feb 2013 : 50mg clomid. Ovidrel Trigger. IUI on 2/14/13 = thin lining, multiple cysts.
Cycle #15 - no meds, still have cysts, no follicles. Boo!
Forced break. Continuous BCP for 6 weeks to give my jacked up ovaries a break.
Cycle #16 actively trying: May/June plan: Femara, Ovidrel Trigger, IUI! Bring iiiiit!

Thoughts/raves/rants... I was so excited for all the election crap to be off the radio, not it is all over Facebook. I need to block everyone for the next week I think.

gtky: when do you start decorating for Christmas...or do you decorate at all? In the past years I decorated early (before turkey day) but that is because I did not spend Xmas at my own home and didnt get to enjoy my decorations. This year we are having Xmas at our house so I am waiting until 8/9 December. I LOVE the holidays so this wait my makes me crazy.

Charting. preseed, OPK's 

I got like zero sleep last night so I discarded today's temp. I stayed up late to watch the election coverage, than at 2am DS decided it was a great time to wake up. OMG, so tired!!

I usually decorate about 2 weeks prior but I don't think we are going to decorate this year. Little hands and Xmas decorations just don't mix. It will be more hassle than anything. DS gets into everything!!

Thoughts/raves/rants: Got a +OPK with FMU today. Annoyed that I'm still sick so we didn't have sex yesterday. I was hoping to hit every day from O-3 to O+1 so I could win the FF arcade game and get a prize. (That's how it works, right?)

GTKY: when do you start decorating for Christmas...or do you decorate at all? I don't decorate for Christmas. We go to visit family for the holidays and feel that there's no sense decorating a place that no one will see on Christmas.

what are you doing this month? New or old? Old/same: opks, temping to confirm O, checking cm, pnvs. New: sex eod from cd 10-18 (the last 3 cycles we were doing cd 12-18 per my dr and I O'd earlier last month so I want to start on cd 10 this month) 

Thoughts/raves/rants...we will be at my bffs on cd 10...I told dh and he said he already had figured that out...hopefully we can still get around to hio!!

I usually start right after Thanksgiving....we usually get a real tree but we wait till 2.5 weeks or so before so it doesn't dry out. I need my decorations up in the meantime...love putting up lights and everything else!

what are you doing this month? New or old?  Tried OPKs, must not have done them right because I never got a positive and if my temp spike from this morning indicated ovulation, then I missed getting a positive.  Ticked.

Thoughts/raves/rants...  Ticked that if I ovulated that I didn't get a positive OPK.  Happy that I ovulated, but timing isn't what I would have wanted if that was the case.  But happy that if I did ovulate yesterday, then this won't be another 80 day cycle like I had last cycle.

what are you doing this month? New or old? Due to new hypothyroid issues, DH and I just decided to start TTA until I can get low-dose supplements under control. We don't want our rush to affect fetal development in any way.

Thoughts/raves/rants... I'm a little disappointed about waiting, but I know it's the right thing for us.

gtky: when do you start decorating for Christmas...or do you decorate at all?  Thanksgiving weekend. Decorating is more fun to do as a group. Only problem is, the tree can get a little crispy by the end.

what are you doing this month? New or old? temping, peeing on OPKs like it's my job, lots of HIO during FW... fertility plus lube (haven't used it yet). PNV. Decreasing caffeine intake.

Thoughts/raves/rants... I POAS AND MADE IT POSITIVE!!! Party!!! Last night my wondfo opk was very, very close to positive after a fade in pattern over 48 hours... took a digital and got the smiley...  Happy I got a positive my first cycle--- all of this peeing hasn't been in vain and it makes me optimistic that my body is slowly getting over 10 years on BC. I'm also proud of my HIO timing so far. 

gtky: when do you start decorating for Christmas...or do you decorate at all?  I usually put my tree up the day before Thanksgiving. Embarrassed Especially if I'm hosting. I try to wait until the day after.

On a side note: 1st argument about children with DH yesterday: Does Santa wrap his presents? I vote yes, in special wrapping paper. DH says hell no.

We are the ones hosting Christmas this year, and since it is our first year in our house, we'll go into full "Christmas Vacation style" decoration mode :)

We bought  a tree and ornaments at Costco last week and I'm pinning Christmas ideas like crazy :)

what are you doing this month? New or old? Same stuff, but after I confirm O I will start with progesterone. 

Thoughts/raves/rants...  I'm thinking I may have o'd yesterday based on +opk's and temps, which is good because after c/p number 1  I didn't o until cd24.   I have to call and get the prescription for progesterone.  

This might be an odd question, but I wasn't sure how to mark it.  Last night we had sex, but dh didn't ejaculate so do I still mark it as we had sex and make a note of it, or not mark it at all?  Normally if that happens I would mark it and make a note, but I'm not sure if it makes a difference since this is my fw. 

gtky: when do you start decorating for Christmas...or do you decorate at all?  I love to decorate.  Last year I had the tree up before thanksgiving because my friend was coming to visit and I wanted it up.  This year I may wait until the weekend after it., even though she will be here again this year.  I just love it.  I've got about half of my shopping done.  I think I'm going to have a wrapping party this year.  I'll just invite friends over and we can wrap gifts together.

what are you doing this month? New or old? OPK's, PNV's, charting/temping.  May try preseed for the first time.

Thoughts/raves/rants...No rants.  I had a decent amount of EWCM the last couple of days which is strange this early in my cycle since I don't normally O until CD21ish.  So I started using OPK's - they were negative as I thought they would be!  I'm just excited to be peeing on things again Stick out tongue

gtky: when do you start decorating for Christmas...or do you decorate at all?  I start decorating the weekend after Thanksgiving.

What are you doing this month? New or old? New: Sex eod until cd 19. Old: Charting, opks, green tea, whole milk, something else.... don't remember.

gtky: when do you start decorating for Christmas...or do you decorate at all? Whenever it is that I recover from Thanksgiving madness, which is a bigger thing than Christmas in DH's family.
