Temping Question

Good morning!

I temp every morning at 5:30, then go back to bed until 6. This morning when i checked my temp at 6, the way the light was reflecting off of the thermometer made it difficult to read. It was either 97.18 or 97.78

If it was 97.18, it wouldn't make much of a difference. But if it was 97.78, that would be right in line with my post O temps from my previous chart.

I recorded 97.18 to see what tomorrow would bring.... Is this what you would do?

Has this happened to anybody else? The temp disappears so quick

Did the temp get cleared?  Usually, mine stays in memory until I take another temp.  Turn it back on and see if it's there.  Otherwise, record the lowest.  Worse case scenario is that you're a day late recognizing ovulation.

Your therm probably stored the temp. For mine, I have to turn it off then hold the power button on and it'll show me the last temp.

Ok, thanks ladies. I will have to check it when I get home. It's the BBT from Target. I bought the Mabis, just waiting (forever) for this cycle to end before I use the new one.

The 97.18 sounds like a favored temp to me, I used to use the Walgreens BBT and it gave me that temp a lot so I switched to the Mabis.  I would probably do what PP's said about recording the lower temp but I would make a note of the other temp just in case.

Looking at your chart I don't think it matter what temp you got today. I would be calling my Doc in 2 days. GL.
