Introduction

I have posted a handful of times but for the most part I am quite the lurker!  I figured I would make a formal introduction, and hopefully I will start to post more. We have been TTGP since April and it has been very challenging. I have never been regular, some months I have two periods, and at times my cycle is anywhere from 28-45 days. The first time I got pregnant it surprisingly happened rather quick but now that we are having such a hard time with number 2 my DH wants to stop trying until after the new year. I understand where he is coming from but I can't help but feel disappointed and angry.

A little about me.  I'm 32 (so is DH).  I have been with my DH for 8 years now, we have a little boy, 2 dogs and because we are crazy, just inherited a cat. I love wine, the show Frasier, Led Zeppelin and Indian food.  I am interested in participating on the boards more and learning even more from you ladies.

Diagnosed with PCOS 4/2012-started Metformin
7/2012 - Clomid 50 mg. + TI = BFN
8/2012 - Clomid 100 mg. + Trigger + TI = No Response
9/2012 - Femara + Trigger + TI = BFN
10/2012 - On a treatment/charting break
12/2012 - Femara + TI = BFFN
2nd Opinion appointment scheduled 1/21/2013

Welcome. Try to remind your husband that it can take up to a year. Maybe have him watch The Great Sperm race on Youtube. It may put things into perspective for him.

I suggest charting and using opks since your cycle is irregular. Maybe that will help you identify O easier and help make sure you hit FW.

Me: 31 DH: 31. TTC since Sept. 2011
B/W: good. SA: good.
November 2012: Paratubal cyst found during U/S.
January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis.
January 2013: Unmedicated. P4 was 8.4. Meds recommended.
February 2013: Femara 2.5 mg and TI. P4 was 8.5. Meds will be doubled next cycle.
March 2013: Femara 5 mg and TI. P4 was over 11.
April 2013: Femara 5 mg and IUI#1. P4 was 11.4. Post wash over 40 million.
May 2013: Femara 5 mg and TI. Vacation during FW.
June 2013: Benched from meds due to thin lining.

Good luck to you, and welcome! Conceiving our DD happened very quickly for us too, so I understand. As other ladies have said, it can take some time and that is 100% normal.

Welcome to the board. I've also been trying since April 2012 and we've had a few set backs along the way. I hope you are back to trying again soon. Oh and I LOVE your Paul Newman photos!
