UTI vent

My doctors office called today and I have ANOTHER uti. This is officially my 3rd UTI during this pregnancy (i havent felt any of them) and the antibiotics didnt work the first time and the second time they barely worked because its back again. They are going to have me take a stronger antibiotic and then take a low dose antibiotic every day for the rest of the pregnancy. They said its nothing I'm doing and that there isnt anything else I can do because they are so recurring and they could cause bigger issues if not fixed. UGH! I am not too happy about this because I have had WAYYY too many issues in this pregnancy so far and I was glad they were all kindof calming down (although this isnt a big issue compared to the rest but still.. im annoyed). Anyone else having these issues?

YES! I have had two so far and go back for my check up again today. We'll see. The doctors said similar thiings to me and I'm not too concerned...just don't like taking medicine during my pregnancy! Hope all works out!

I had two early on :( fingers crossed I have been doing everything in my power to use the bathroom the INSTANT I have to and drinking LOTS of water. I have been without one for a while now, so I hope that its helping!! GL!

I never had a UTI until I got pregnant with my DD, and since then I have had a ton.  I hate them!  My doctor told me it is safe to take Cranberry pills during pregnancy, and they tend to help me prevent UTIs.  I swear its the times that I start forgetting them, or deciding that I don't need to, that I get a UTI.

Ugh... That is lame. I am going in today to see if I have a UTI or not. I've never had one so I honestly don't know what they feel like, but hopefully this will be my only experience with one this pregnancy (if it is was in fact).

yes I've had 3 so far and I'm 14 weeks. My next appt is monday so well see if this latest one went away

Ugh, that's not fun at all :(
I've only had one this pregnancy, thank goodness & I was the same way, never felt it. Which I suppose is sort of a good thing in its own way because I've had many of them when I wasn't pregnant & wow...ouch!!
Sorry you have to go through it though.

Haha, I have been on antibiotics for 2 years for recurrent UTIs. Ive had bladder ultrasounds and cystocopies, and nothing is wrong, I am just super prone to them. I take a low dose antibiotic to prevent them from comign back. When I stop taking them, I get symptios within 24 hours. I"ve tried everything. 

Before I got pregnant, I had about 6 months where I didn't need the antibiotics....the hell started again when I got pregnant. Yay.

Ugh...UTIs are horrible. Although you said you haven't felt any of them which is awesome. I would rather go through labor or have my leg cut off than have a UTI. They are the worst pain in the world to me. I had one last Spring that went on for three months. It wouldn't clear up after 3 rounds of antibiotics and then they think it got into my kidneys.That is why it can be dangerous if it isn't taken care of. Sounds like the docs are doing what they can and staying on top of it though. Hope it all clears up soon! I haven't had an actual UTI during this pregnancy, but have had pain like there was one starting. They suck. Good luck!
