XP: Video Monitor for 2 Kids

Hoping you ladies might have some insight on this:

Can anyone recommend a video monitor for 2 kids? We currently have the summer infant safe and secure- it came with 1 camera, a hand held unit and a 7 inch screen.  The large screen recently broke (when DD threw it on the ground).  I called summer infant and of course it is out of warranty and you can't just buy a replacement screen.  They did offer a completely new set for $170 and said I could use it for 2 kids since I will have 2 cameras but that would require manually switching between channels a and b to see both kids or keeping the hand held unit on channel a and the screen on b...but the hand held unit has been getting a lot of interference lately.

So, I have looked at a few newer monitors...the Motorola Digital Video Monitor with 2 screens and the Summer Infant Babytouch Video Monitor.  They are both close to $300 so it's quiet an investment.  Has anyone had experience with either monitor (I am specifically looking for details as to how they switch between cameras) or any other recommendations.

 Thanks!!

We have the Motorola Digital Video Monitor. It has two cameras and just one screen. But there is a setting called "scan" and it automatically switches between the two camera every 10 seconds.

I got the whole set at Babies R Us (including the two cameras) with a 20% off coupon for around $225, I think.

Ditto!

I had originally went with summer infant slim and secure. In my oldest sons 16 months of life I gone through 3 monitors and 2 extra cameras. I swear on my life none of us are crazy aggressive with our monitor, it just SUCKED. Summer infant was good on replacing each and everyone because it just plain SUCKED. but I finally had enough and bought the motorola. It is freaking amazing. On top of seeing your kids rooms, and scanning it tells the temp of their rooms and you can talk ( intercom) or play lullabies to their rooms - how crazy is that? I totally love this monitor and would recommend it to anyone.

Thank you for posting as we are looking for one for 2 kids as well. Right now we have the Summer Infant Slim & Secure (I think thats the name) and we've never had a problem with it. I like that it has a clip which ive used several times, and it holds a charge really well. The only thing I don't like is I'd love to have one that works on my iphone so if we hang out with the neighbors for a bit at night we can still see him. It'll work right next door but our other neighbors it won't reach to. Plus, I need another camera for baby #2...

Ive seen the iphone ones but I don't know if I want to pay close to $400!

I have this too.  You can hook up to 4 cameras to it. I love it so far.

Love my family!
