Bought my first baby item!

I just found out I was pregnant and I already bought something for the baby. I bought this. Now I am worried that something might happen and seeing it will upset me. My aunt had a lot of miscarriages so I am a bit worried but so excited! Are you waiting to buy baby stuff? Am I stupid or should I just relax and enjoy the moment?

We haven't really bought anything. I did order some cloth diapers last week and they arrived today. Other than that, we haven't purchased anything. I don't want to jinx it either. Plus, we don't know what baby is, so shopping for some stuff isn't appealing yet.

Just enjoy it, but don't buy too much. You'll want to shop a lot before the baby arrives and already having a lot of stuff will take the fun out of it.

I feel you!!! I bought a maternity coat, maternity top, and a maternity dress (for my bump photos). I also purchased an US photo frame.

its so exciting... But I def would be devastated if something happened and I had to look at everything :-(

lets just try to stay positive tho!

I guess it's normal, I also wanted to go around and buy baby socks! I am not in the US but if I would, then I would definitely buy a loooot of things on black friday!

I guess if something bad would happen to baby, you would be devastated regardless of things you bought.

I bought diapers last week.  I will eventually buy some maternity clothes.  We have a HUGE family that typically provides for the entire nursery so I will just wait and fill in the gaps later.  We are having the last baby of this cousin set.  There won't be anymore for awhile until the next set gets married (early 20s). 

I like to look but I won't buy anything.

That is so funny because I bought that same giraffe for my friend's baby shower last year! We had a yellow and lavender and giraffe theme, it was so cute.

I actually bought a little book, a picture to hang on the nursery wall and an old fashioned wooden toy BEFORE we got pregnant because they were thrift store/cheap items and I didn't want to pass them up. Other than that I have not bought anything since I found out we were pregnant...I think I am waiting to find out the sex but I already have in mind a periwinkle Peter Rabbit theme for the nursery.. Smile
