I'm DT. I've been on thebump for almost six years now. I'm starting meds for IVF#1 a few days after you and I'm on BCP's right now. My boobs are huge, I'm weepy and starving all the time, and I feel like I've already lost my mind so the injections are making me nervous, lol. I was absolutely INSANE on Clomid, so I can only imagine what injects will be like.
As to your question about sedation for egg retrieval, I think that varies by doctor. I think there are a couple ladies here who've done their ER's awake but local meds, but my RE says no way, no how - he said he doesn't want to risk me twitching or being unable to hold still or being in too much pain.
