Girl's MN help

What do you think of Gwendolyn Eve?

We are definitely using Gwendolyn (nn Gwen), and we'd like to use an E middle name. DH really likes Eve, but I am not completely sold on it. There is something I don't quite like about it, and I can't put my finger on it. Am I being silly/irrational?

Thanks! Last name sounds like "May-mull" if that helps!

I don't love the flow either.

Maybe Elisabeth, Estelle, Erin?

I'm not a fan of the flow either, generally they say a long FN should be paired with a short and sweet MN but with this one I disagree. I feel like it needs an equally beautiful, flowing, polysyllable MN to go with it.

I really like PP's suggestion of Elisabeth, spelled just like that too. My MN is spelled Elizabeth but I liek the way the s version looks when combined with Gwendolyn.

Evangeline is also a beautiful name but maybe a bit much with Gwendolyn, with Gwyneth I like it but I like the name Gwendolyn much better!

Elaina/Elena

Evelyn (although they have the same ending so maybe this one isn't so good lol)

Emma/Esme/Emme/Emily all are beautiful

I'm not crazy about the flow (it kind of all runs together), but it's not awful.  After the newborn phase, you really don't say fn and mn together, so I think it's fine.  Because Gwendolyn is such a long name, I really wouldn't pair it will a long mn.  My only other suggestion would be Gwendolyn Elise and I like the sound and flow better than Gwendolyn Eve.

Guess I'm the odd one out but I like Gwendolyn Eve or Gwendolyn Eva. I love Gwendolyn! It would be high on my list for DD2 if I could use it!

I don't mind it but I think the one syllable name doesn't flow that well. What about Elise?

We love Elise so much that we already used it for DD1, Charlotte Elise! Great suggestions though!
