Recomendations for a decent swing

Im clueless on all this baby gear I need some help on picking out a decent swing. I feel like a swing is more important than a bouncer so im willing to spend a little bit of money on a nice one.

We loved our Fisher Price Papasan Cradle Swing. It was by far our best baby investment and we used it several times a day for the first 6 months. It plugs into the wall OR can run on batteries. It has 3 positions for the seat. A tray with built in toys that is removable. It has a light projector and a mobile. And several musical/nature sound options (16?).

We have the starlight pattern---which is the most neutral or boy like. I ordered it from Amazon for $93. (I watched sales and registered to get the extra 10% off)

I don't feel like it's much different from the Fisher Price Snugabunny. Which is also really popular.

Every baby is different but DS (and DH and myself) HATED the bouncer. It might have gotten used a total of 6 times.

We have this one and loved it for all the reasons PP has already suggested:

Most Fisher Price swings get very good reviews around here. DS used his constantly and it's still like brand new.

We had the Snug-a-bunny. It was awesome and I loved that we could plug it in. I think the Papasan plugs in, too. To me, that's a must-have feature for a swing.

FP my little snuggabunny swing. A must-have in our house! Our LO is 5 months old and still likes it.

We have an older version of this swing. Ours only runs on batteries, but it was a life saver for both my girls.

This is the one we have, and we love it.  We're still using it with LO at 7 1/2 months. She loves the lights and the little mobile.

We had the snugabunny swing at our house and the Papasan Cradle at my parents house. We also borrowed a Mamaroo (horrible, don't recommend it at all) We liked the Snugabunny the best by far. It was the only one that went fast enough for DD, it had a plug so no wasted batteries, and it had a 5 point harness so DD couldn't get out of it even when she learned to sit up and was able to enjoy the swing until 11 months old! The Papasan was a great concept but just not practical. The snack try wasn't in the right position for her to use it and it I remember correctly it didn't have the 5 point harness just a regular belt (correct me if I'm wrong, we had my mom sell it because it really wasn't working for us). By the time LO can sit up to use the tray they can also get out of the swing because the seat belt is no good.. We also loved the idea of the lights and the fabric but DD kept pulling on the fabric and pulling it off it's track so it would catch in the mobile and the mobile would be stuck and and almost broke several times.  While the starlight papasan was a cool idea and I expected to love it, the Snugabunny was so much better. It didn't have the lights but it has a cool mirror in the center of the mobile and DD was more fascinated by that than the lights anyway.

We have the Snug-A-Bunny swing and love it! DS really enjoys the music and mobile.

Selling points for us:

- It was a must-have for us that the swing plug in to the wall, we didn't want to have to deal with batteries.

- It's gender neutral (important for us because we want to have another baby, so all our big purchases have been gender neutral so we can reuse them).

- Can swing either back-and-forth or side-to-side.

- Great reviews

I got ours off Craigslist for $75 or $80.
