Tell me about ur LOs crib transition

Tell me about ur LOs crib transition from RnP! We are thinking about trying it this weekend before I go back to work plus DD is getting long for her RnP. I'm nervous that its not going to go well since naps fail in her cribalthough she isn't a great napper but sleeps excellent at night, 10 to 12 hrs straight. Right now we don't swaddle since I wouldn't be able to buckle her in the RnP but we have swaddled before and she doesn't seem to mind either way. I have her sleeping in warm fleece sleepers right nowcold in pa and I also have fleece sleep sacks. I think swaddling her in those would be way to warm for her but the fleece sleepers alone seem to keep her a great temp. Don't want her to get to hot but thought swaddling might help her feel more secure like her RnP. I'm not exactly sure why she doesn't like sleeping flat except possible silent reflux and if the crib would make her uncomfortable or she just doesn't like it. Any advice or tips would be appreciated. If we don't try this weekend then we will probably wait till the new year if she still fits in her RnP by then.

LO was sleeping in a bassinet by our bed but hated it and I usually would have to transition to the bouncy seat or my bed, so I tried the crib this week. He did well. I feed him bath him and rock him in his room with the lights dim then put him in his crib with the FP aquarium on, also I swaddle him tight. He previously didn't sleep swaddled but he seemed to take to it well. He usually takes 2 times to actually stay sleeping and settle in the crib.

DS was in a bassinet in our room and one night I just decided to put him in his crib.  He slept fine and I got rid of the bassinet.  All you can do is try and keep trying if the first night doesn't work out.

First time posting in a long time!! DS was sleeping in the pack-n-play, and one night we just decided to put him in the crib. Went without any issues....we swaddle him still though. We have been just putting one arm out and eventually will put the other arm out too, as I am afraid of how he'll sleep not being swaddled at all. I am sure it will go okay for you:)

We were doing much better about putting LO in her crib sometimes, but her room is also a guest room of sorts and with the hurricane and then snow storm it is like we are running a hostel, so she hasn't been in her crib in a bit.

She certainly isn't full time in her crib but we started with naps, and will do nights more as she sleeps more.  Our priority was for her to be able to sleep anywhere since we often spend weekends at my in-laws, or at friends houses. We keep the routine the same and she doesn't seem to mind where she is.

We are in the process. Two words: NOT GOOD. She slept great in the bassinet - I would put her down asleep, rocked a couple times, passed out. I feel like without the rocking she just keeps waking. We've been swaddling and she likes that but again, as soon as she hits the crib it's party time. It takes DH and I anywhere between 1 and 5 hours to get her to sleep for good. On the plus side, once she falls asleep she'll sleep for 7-8 hours straight, wake up to eat and sleep for another 3 hours. As far as warmth, we have the chenille sheets from PBK so they are nice a cozy. She has her pjs and the swaddle on.
