This is the second post I read recently about this.  I had this too, but it was like 2 weeks ago.  My dr. suspected appendicitis, so we were sent to the ER.  It was nothing and it went away a few days later.  If it persists for a long time, I would check with your dr.  Because it's on the right side, that's why they originally thought appendicitis - so it won't hurt to get it checked out.  She told me that appendicitis manifests itself in different ways in pregnant women, like the symptoms differ from those of non-preg. women.  I did spend 6 long hours in the ER, but I at least got an ultrasound out of it and we learned the sex of the baby early :)

I've had the pain too.  My mom thought it was appendicitis, but I took it as RLP.  It lasted from 8pm-10am.  Not a fun night

i had the same pain about 2 weeks ago and i went to my doctors office and she told me that in medical terms its called " round ligament pain" and one easy way to prevent it to get up from a laying down position slowly and to not twist and turn so much it is all very normal :)

I hope this helps you

I am currently experiencing this only it's on my left side, where my ovary is. I ended up going to the DR because there were times when I couldn't even stand up straight. Had US (found out I am having a boy) and everything looks fine. It seems to become worse when I'm overly active. My DR told me its either gas or growing pains. I know its not gas so I'm chocking it up to the latter. If it persists I would call the DR though for peace of mind! Feel better!

This was my Dr's first thought when I mentioned a similar pain... only I had my appendix out more than 10 years ago.  Since then mine has migrated above my belly, right below my ribs.  Sometimes it is so sharp that it literally will take my breath away and leave me immobile.
