I've never gotten a really unique spelling of my name, just the alternate (Trisha), but I have had people really mangle the pronunciation if they're reading it--the best was "Try-SEE-ah"...Really?
Wait, there was one uniq version-but that was the Chinese restaurant down the street, so I cut them some slack. My order arrived addressed to "Terisia", and I liked that enough to use it as a char name in my MMO.
