nickname "Lu"

You ladies seem to be good with these types of requests, so I'm wondering if anyone can suggest full names for the nickname Lu (for a girl).  I think Lu is a pretty cute little nickname - not something we would use exclusively but maybe just occasionally.

Lucy seems like an obvious choice, which I kind of like.  I'm not a fan of Lucinda.  I do like Louisa, but our kids are prone to asthma, so I don't want the nickname potential of wheezy.. haha.

Any other, less obvious ones - maybe ones that don't start with the "lu" sound but have it incorporated elsewhere?

I love Lou.  One of my faaavorite boy's names is Louis and I'd call him Louie.  Swoooooooon.

 

Okay, I totally love Lu or Lulu on a girl, too.

Possible given names: Lucia, Lucille, Lucinda, Luisa (love!), Eloise, Luna (also love!).

I think you can use the nickname Lu without it having anything to actually do with the name.  I tend to add Lu to the end of dogs names and then just end up calling the dog Lu.  I know a dog is not the same as a child, but you can still do that.  My first dog was named Lady and we called her Lady Louisa or Lady Lou, and my husband's parents have a dog I named Gemma and we call her Gemma Lou but I mostly end up calling her Lou Lou.

Eloise was the first to come to mind. I also like the suggestion of Tallulah.
