Pain down under? (TMI)

Last night i was getting sharp shooting vaginal pains, the only time i ever experienced that before was in my last semester of pregnancy (obviously not the case now). I have only been off my IUD since the begining of Sept however it was non-hormone so it would not have supressed PMS symptoms and AF not expected (or hopefully missed) for another week and a half. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced this before and if so in correlation with anything; Ovulation, Implantation, Starting AF, etc?

Lightening Crotch!!! 

This was talked about a while back, I'll have to go look for the thread.  But a few of us have experienced sharp shooting pain that felt like it was in our cervix/vag.  I thought I would start tracking mine to see if it seemed to correlate to some certain time of my cycle, but I forgot until you posted, so thanks for the reminder :-P

Glad I'm not the only one who had it, apparently I don't need to worry my cervix is falling out. That would make TTGP WAY harder.

I've had this occasionally, not sure it meant anything.

My very close friend in college, who ironically is now an OB/GYN specializing in MFM used to refer to it as "vagina fallout".

I've been getting this pain a lot with my regular period cramps.  It was so bad this last cycle I had the heating pad between my legs!  I'm assuming it is because I have increased my b-vitamins so my periods are a bit heavier.

I've never experienced this when not pregnant, but like you, I had it during my last trimester with DD. I always assumed it was her head against my cervix b/c I felt it whenever she would twist in a certain way. Yooooowza!!!

How do y'all always manage to find the perfect gif to match anything?  This made me laugh, love it!

I do remember having shooting pains in my vaginal region when I was in my last trimester with DD, I'm sure then it had to do with increased pressure on sensitive areas and such.  I have had very fleeting sharp pains down there occasionally when not pregnant as well, enough that it bends me over double or I have to adjust my position if seated, but never anything that I could correlate with anything cyclical, just random twinges I guess.  Doesn't happen often that I can recall.  Sorry, not very helpful I know!
