Baby Trend Sit n' Stand Stroller

Pros? Cons? I'm considering getting one because DS is 3, so when we go to the mall he mostly rides in the stroller but still likes to walk for some of it. So I was thinking this stroller would be a good way to go. I'm curious what kind of infant seats can snap on the front though, we have an Eddie Bauer infant seat.

A family that I used to nanny for had this stroller. I found it bulky and really difficult to push around.

anything similar that i could use? i'm not really wanting a complete double stroller because DS doesn't always sit in the stroller so it would kind of be a waste of money since he's coming to the end of using one.

Have you looked at the Joovy Caboose Ultralight. It has a universal carseat adapter. Go to their website and check it out. I found mine on Craigslist for 60 bucks and it was like brand new.

This is the stroller we're planning to go with. I've tried two different models. The Deluxe version at Shopko was a huge beast to push around. I didn't like the stroller at all. The Ultra version at BRU was much much nicer. I'm planning to buy it at the trade in event, so it will be $112. Can't beat that price for what we need. I also decided on the Safety 1st OnBoard Air, and the Baby Trend stroller is one that fits with it.

Here's the list of compatible carseats from the Baby Trend website:

  • Accepts all Baby Trend and most major brands of infant car seats: (for better fit and performance you may need to remove the canopy of the stroller)
  • Baby Trend - 22 lbs & 30 lbs
  • Graco - Snugride, Snugride 32, Safe Seat
  • Evenflo - Embrace, Discovery
  • Britax - Companion, Chaperone
  • Safety 1st - On Board 35

good idea to do it at the trade in event! i have a full size stroller i wouldn't mind trading in! and thank you for the list of car seats that are compatible!

Another vote for the joovy ultralight. I read a ton of reviews and the baby trend got a lot of complaints for being heavy and hard to push. I got the ultralight on CL for like 100
