3 month photos?

I purchased a one-year photography package which includes newborn, 3, 6, 9 and 12 month photo shoots.  I'm trying to figure out what my daughter will wear for the 3 month photos and am a little confused - she won't be sitting yet, but she's not a sleeping newborn, so what is usually done for 3 month photos?  I plan to do one Christmas outfit since she will be exactly 3 months on 12/25....other than that, I'm at a loss!

When my DD had her 3 month photos done she wore a dress.  They had her sort propped up in a chair (sort of like a mini papasan chair) which was covered with a padding and a white sheet. (you can't tell she's on a chair in the picture)
