Have you picked a Diaper Bag yet?!

I've done some research on bags and I absolutely fell in love with the ju-ju be bff diaper bag. The diaper bag is costly for a diaper bag, but when I compare the cost to my other bag Coach ,LV, Kate Spade and Michael Kors its doable.

Already bought my bag! The Charlie bag by Soyoung, the best one I've found. :) also like it cause DH can use it too and won't feel unmanly... Lol

I'm just going to use an astrosatchel messenger bag that I already own, and DH will use a backpack.  I bet that I'll use the backpack pretty often, too.

lol I know I know lol you called me out! I have a fetish for handbags and shoes. In my defense , the juju be- bff I found was $130 and the used crib was $150. Babies grow so fast and I hate to waste money! with a good bag if something goes wrong send it back to the manf. and they will fix it .  lol you got me~

I had a cheap diaper bag I used with DD as I wasn't sure what I wanted. I decided some time ago that a back pack would be the best and is what I sued when we go on vacation. We just came back from Disney and my MIL gave me a vera bradley back pack as an early Christmas present. It was $79 on sale but it's taken me a year and a half to decide just what I needed! the over the shoulder didn't work for me when you're carrying a car seat and then a toddler!! and now it will be x2! lol

i'm in love with bags; i have a few coach, a prada and a kate spade. Most of them I either got from consignment or ebay. I'll probably do the same for the diaper bag. Cant go wrong with a gently used coach diaper bag for 120$ vs. 400$ for a new one.

I decided on the Vera Bradley Messenger Baby Bag but not a pattern yet. My mom is getting it for me for Xmas! I love the size and the messenger style bc with 2 kids I'll need my arms/hands free. Plus it's totally washable and only 118 ;

For my first we used a Winnie the Pooh Diaper bag from Walmart that i got at my baby shower. It lasted well over a year. Then I got a Jeep diaper bag, less than 30, very good sized, I could fit my things and baby's things. We just bought a over the shoulder 1 strap backpack that will be able to be easily worn by myself and DH. Since DS now is potty trained, all we need is an extra outfit, underwear and some wipes. Adding LO's things will be easy and it is not as straigning on my back as the other diaper bags. Mind you, we still have the other 2 diaper bags too.

FYI you can get a solid crib brand new for 150 or less. Graco sells their line at Walmart for cheap and it is recommended by the baby bargains book.

This just seems like crazy logic to me. I used the crib a lot longer than I used the diaper bag. Also, there are a lot of safety issues with cribs; it's hard to verify recall/safety issues on used cribs. It doesn't make sense that you would be frugal, waste money?, on a safety item, and be willing to spend so much on a diaper bag.

I am going back and forth between the Kate Spade bag and the Mia Bossi bags. My friend had a Mia Bossi and loves it. It has a "diaper bag" insert that comes completely out and you can get their computer bag insert when its nit longer needed as a diaper bag. As a working mom, this seems super cool.

I picked the Skip Hop VIA Messenger diaper bag because I looked at a lot of different ones and this seems to have the best reviews and work best for me, it's also nice enough that DH can carry it around without feeling like he has a purse on.

DH bought my bag for me while we were still TTC (well, I was pg, but we didn't know). I had my eye on the Black/white polka dot Kate Spade Stevie diaper bag since DD was a baby, but it was $400. We found it in July, however, for $125 at our local Kate Spade outlet. I'm so excited to carry it. All of her stuff is incredibly durable, well-made, and classic-looking. My 5-year-old purses from her still look like new.

 Ouch. Insulting people who like nice things. I'm sure it's just the fact we are ALL insecure and need to show off our money, not that we like things that last and have increased functionality.Confused

I spent just as much on replacing cheaper, crappy diaper bags (many with great reviews, actually) over the last 4 years as I did on my Kate Spade (I got it at over 66% off, TYVM). I invested in quality this time. It has nothing to do with being insecure or needing to keep up with others. It DOES, however, help that it's pretty and I like to look at it, as I'll be carrying it for a while.
