Nausea is unbearable :

I'm on zofran and yet still I want to die! Can't stop heaving. Anyone have any other ideas that worked for them? I'm in tears!

I usually eat some fruit and that usually helps me. You have got to eat something. Keep something light on your stomach.

Go to walgreens and get these things called seabands. I used them last pregnancy and now usiing them with this pregnancy. I've stopped having morning sickness. It feels wonderful to eat again lol.

How about preggie pops? I read about them on here while lurking while TTC and a bunch of ladies said they work. I haven't had nausea yet but am thinking about getting them so I am ready. We have Prime so they ship for free.

If zofran isn't working, you may have hyperemesis gravidarum. I have it, so I feel your pain! Have you talked to your OB about what you're going through? I had to go to the ER Satarday night because I was throwing up all day and couldn't keep liquids down. Anyway, the ER doctor said there are other options you can try besides zofran, so you should definately ask about it.

A lot of well-meaning people give me suggestions like "eat saltines before you get up" or preggie pops, sea bands, etc. But if you have HG, those things will probably not work.

I hope you feel better soon!

Just an FYI, Sour Patch Kids work just as well, taste better, are easier to find and cheaper.  I kept a huge jar and small stashes all over the house and in my purses!

I'm right there with you. I can't even talk about how nauseous I am to anyone without starting to cry. I've never felt so terrible. I tried all of the foods, sea bands, acupuncture, etc - nothing worked for me. I just started the b6/unisom regimen yesterday and it is taking the edge off. The nausea isn't completely gone - but it is improved. I'm doing 25 mg of b6, 3 times a day. half of a unisom before bed, and a quarter of

I think people are right that eating every hour or two does help cut some of the nausea, but I don't know about you, but eating that much and that often makes me feel bad in a whole different way - bloated, full, and my stomach just plain hurts, on top of the nausea, because I've been snacking all day.

 Ugh...it really is the worst.

I haven't found anything that works besides lying in bed or sitting still. Just try to eat through the nausea or you'll feel worse. I also try to eat stuff that will also taste good on the way out and avoid anything that I have to chew a lot.

Hope you feel better soon.
