Is this a good baby checklist?

I found this new baby checklist - and I am wondering if this is a realistic, comprehensive list to go by? I am a planner and just want to bookmark links for later when I start my registry etc. Plus I am having fun just looking at baby stuff. Any other websites/links that are good? TIA!

It looks pretty good but there are definitely other things that you may want (but they can be a matter of preference).  A baby monitor is one that comes to mind.  Also, if you're going to formula feed, you'll want to get a formula dispenser.  It holds three servings and is great for when you're out for the day.  Personally I hated the hooded towels and felt like they were too small after a couple months.  We just uses regular towels.  One tip: Buy the thinnest, cheapest looking baby washcloths you can find.  The thinner they are the easier they suds up and allow you to get into all the cracks and crevices :)

I agree that this seems like a pretty good list.  I also agree on the baby monitor.

I agree with a lot of the items except the burp clothes, my Mom just bought a pack of cloth diapers, they worked much better for me, the burp cloths they make were just too small..and def a monitor and myself, the best thing is the diaper genie I got.  Granted the refills could get expensive at times but it kept the smell out of the house! And the swing, OMG, used it sooo much for Cadance, sometimes that is the only time I could get her to sleep LOL!

Baby monitor is on that list under "Baby Health."

Looks like a pretty good list to me.

Check out Lucie's List. I found it helpful when I was pregnant.

A lot of the baby checklists push things on you that you really do not need, so far the best one I have seen was posted on here by someone a while back. I believe from Amazon so you could look for that one.

ETA: I just looked at your link! lol I found that list pretty good!

Looks pretty good!  You will need to tailor the list to your needs...like if you are going to use cloth diapers or disposable or both...also if you will be using formula or breast feeding.  But the list looks pretty good!

I hate that damn thing. I could never get it all out.

We use the Medela 80 ml BM storage tubes instead. You can measure out up to 6 oz worth of formula in them, then slip it in the bottle holder compartment with the bottle.

If you love to plan & research (I went crazy with DS) check out the book "Baby Bargains" - they explain everything in there & have great reviews. They also have a website & msg board.  I'm not sure if they have a new book out, but I used one that was about 2 yrs old & it still helped A LOT.
