Are u keeping all your boxes?

Just wondering what everyone was doing about the boxes to all your baby gear??? Like car seat bases, swings, strollers, etc....do u have to have boxes if there's a recall?

Don't think you need them for recalls but I kept my boxes for some of the big items that didn't need to be assembled so I could store the items back in them when we were done with them and save them for lo 2. Things like high chair that required assembly I didnt bother keeping because I wasn't going to disassemble to store. I just covered those things with garbage bags etc.

I recycled all mine. But we have a pretty small apartment and our storage unit is already packed so I didn't have much choice.

Didn't keep any of mine. There are slips of warranty info that are with the instructions and such so we have a Ziploc with all of them together.
We can't wait to meet baby Mason!

I will not be keeping any boxes but we live in a less than 700 sq foot apartment so it's really not possible.

We don't have the room to keep them - make sure you mail back the card that comes with it so they can contact you in the event of a recall.

No we recycled ours...I didn't want that stuff hanging around and taking up space we really don't have.

I'm keeping boxes of things I plan to sell. From experience, they always sell better when they're in original packaging, even when used.

We didn't keep them, they were long gone.  You won't need them for recalls.

Flat pack all of your boxes and stick them in the back or bottom of a cupboard. Then if there is a recall or you want to sell the stuff you have the boxes. I'm keeping all of my big boxes for baby to play with when he/she is bigger. We always loved playing with the boxes when my parents got a washing machine or something. My dad would cut out a door and window and we'd play for weeks.

We went online and registered everything with the companies and threw those suckers out. My husband is the king of filing in our house so he filed all of our instructions and warranty stuff away incase we sell some of the stuff down the road.
