When to pack hospital bag?

So this is preg #3 for me, scheduled c-section and my history is that I've never gone into labor on my own. Part of me thinks I can wait to pack my bag for at least another month, the other part of me thinks I should get started and get it over with. When did you/are you going to start packing your hospital bag?

You're in the same situation as me and due around the same time (baby #2 though). My first was almost 2 weeks late so I am doubting I would go super early. I scheduled my csection a week before my due date.

I plan to pack the week of my csection. I'll be home from work (yay!) and my daughter goes to school 3 days a week. So I'm sure I'll need something to organize and get all ready!

My C-sec is scheduled for next week, and I would have waited to pack until this coming weekend, but reading the flurry of "hospital bag" posts here these past few weeks got me paranoid LOL! So, I packed a week ago, and I need to make a sticky note of a few last-minute items to bring (Iphone cords, stuff I still use everyday)

I'm going to have my list ready at 35 weeks and to start packing certain items at that point, stuff I don't use everyday. I plan to have the bag ready to go at 37 weeks. We will be in the middle of a move about that time, so it makes sense for me to get the bag packed, and out of the way, so I don't inadvertently pack away something in the move that I need in my bag.

Last time I didn't pack ahead of time, and had to rush off the hospital at 38, and forgot all sorts of things I needed.

I packed my bag at 38 weeks..but I don't have a planned c-section.  I think you should at least have a list prepared in case you go earlier than planned.

Im a FTM and Im pretty sure I'll be cookin baby till EDD (Dec 23) I'm gonna pack my bag Thursday after my Dr appt and have DH set up the car seat just incase :)

I started packing my hospital bag a couple weeks ago.  Still have a few things to put in, but it's mostly last minute stuff I use every day.

Just finished packing our bag (or bags since DH has his own and so does the LO) today...37 weeks. Glad we did bc my OB just asked about it at my visit tonight.

I need to pack mine tonight as my c-section is in the morning. So I guess I am not much help.  I personally think you have plenty of time.  A lot of the stuff you put in last minute anyhow, chargers, make-up etc.

I kind of panicked around 30W and decided I needed to at least start on a hospital bag as I'm a FTM. I got as far as packing most of the stuff DH and I will need. I'm still working on last minute items for us and getting LOs bag together. Truly I thought I would have it all packed and in the car by now as I'm worried I'll go early and I like to plan for everything, but I guess these last few weeks have gone by so fast.

The advice the other moms gave me was do what makes you feel comfortable. If it will make you feel better and more prepared to pack it early by all means pack it early. If you are torn between the two then I would may pack a few items so if something happens before your c-section date you won't have as many items to grab last minute.

I'm a fellow c section mamma and I packed mine and LO's at 36+ weeks......just made me feel better......with mine being scheduled next Tuesday I'm able to focus on my house and relax instead of freaking out I'm not packed for me or him......

I'll probably pack my bag at 37 weeks just so I don't have to worry about it.  I have my csection scheduled for 39 weeks but my daughter was 10 days early so I'm thinking there is a chance I won't make it to my scheduled date

I was planning on having mine packed by 35 weeks. But then I kept putting it off. I finally started packing it Saturday night. It's still not done. I'm currently 36 weeks and at my appointment today my doctor said he thinks I'll go early...I still have no motivation to pack it! I'm also supposed to be moving into my boyfriends this weekend...i literally have nothing packed. Non-pregnant me would be freaking out, but I've just been so exhausted lately I can't bring myself to care. haha

I didn't pack until I was in active labor, because the doctor was like "Oh it's your first baby, call me in an hour" and an hour later said the same thing. Luckily at 4 AM she said I could go in, but I packed during the two hour wait, and showered too. I did, however, make my list of stuff to pack at like 32 weeks, and mandated that the car seats be installed and inspected by the time I was about 36 weeks.
