Losing my mind and how many days after transfer until beta?

So I'm feeling completely crazy in this 2ww.  I feel like a newb over-analyzing every single possible symptom.  I feel like I could post 10 of the annoying "I have this symptom.  Am I pregnant?" posts.  That's what is going through my mind like 24/7.  AHHHHH.  Just needed to let a little of the crazy out because DH is just thinks I'm a nutcase (which I am even without IF) and he is the calmest person I know.

 Also, my beta is not until 12dp5dt.  It seems like everyone else is 9dp5dt.  Why the heck is my RE trying to make me lose my mind with 3 extra days.  I have decided I will POAS 8dp5dt (thurs).  Is it odd that my first beta is so far away? 
Me: 26 DH: 26
Together 12 years, Married 4 years
TTC #1 since 12/2010 with unexplained IF
HSG: normal SA: normal
Jan 2011-April 2011: Femara 2.5 mg with 4 failed cycles
May 2012-Aug 2012: 3 IUIs- 100mg Clomid + Ovidrel + Endometrin = BFNs
November 2012: IVF #1 ER: 11/2 22 eggs retrieved. ET: 5dt on 11/7 (2 transferred)
Beta #1 on 11/19: 1069 Beta #2 on 11/21: 2752
1st ultrasound 12/5- It's TWINS!!!
Baby B with omphalocele and diaphragmatic hernia...We will love him as long as God allows.

Good luck to you!  The 2ww sucks big time!!!!  
Me; 35 DH 32 TTC for over 2 years First mini-IVF Sept 2011... Only 1 egg! ... BFN Switching RE IVF#2 May 2012 9 eggs and only 2 sperm, WTH! BFN IVF#3 Chemical... FML. 2 frosties. SAIF/PAIF ALWAYS WELCOME!!!!!

Mine was 14dp5dt so it could actually be worse. Hang in there and try to relaxI know I know.

My H and I went and bought a 2,000 piece puzzle and have been working at a little bit at a time over the 2ww. You'd be surprised how theraputic it can be to keep your mind busy like that. I highly recommend it. We got ours at Target in the board games section.

My beta is next Tuesday and I tried talking my RE into letting me do it Monday, thinking happy thoughts of a positive result, so I could do the second beta Wednesday, since Tuesday would make the second beta Thursday which is then thanksgiving and my office won't be open again till Monday, are they trying to kill me!??!! But they said nope, too early even thought Monday would be 8dp5dt. Whatever! I am sure I will pee on a stick a few times by then. No symptoms here so no advice, and anything I do feel is blamed on the meds anyway, just hoping good things for you and that the waiting will be worth it!

My beta is Thursday and I am going nuts.  I wish I had some advice for getting through it but I've got nothing!  Good luck on POAS day!

I feel your pain!  I think all REs are different.  I had my first beta on 9dp5dt and I go back tomorrow AM, 11dp5dt.  I probably could have POAS at like 6dp5dt, but my clinic encourages you not to and I'm just able to do it...I have no fingernails though! :)  Good luck.

Blood work, anatomy and his SA = in fine shape say drs
Our journey so far:
7/09: BFP m/c 6w s/e/p, 2 rounds methotrexate
4/10 BFP m/c 6w D&C..it was a boy :(
6/10-2/11 TTC naturally, BFNs
3/11: Clomid cycle, BFN
4/11-9/11 TTC naturally, BFNs
10/11 IUI #1 BFN
Have to breathe over next few months.
Feb 2012: IVF #1, max stims, only 3 retrieved, all fertilized, only 1 transferred on Day 3. BFN.
RE says move to DE. DE it is.
DE IVF #1 - 10/29: 12 eggs retrieved, 10 fert. 11/2: Day5 transfer 2 'perfect' blasts. 4 blasts on ice. 11/11: Beta #1 at 9dp5dt = 72.7 11/13: Beta #2 at 11dp5dt: 30.3 c/p :( WTF appt 11/27: RE a little dumbfounded. Checking Thyroid panel again, Hysterogram as well; FET most likely in Jan. '13.have reconsidered a parallel path of adoption.
PAIF&SAIF always welcome

OP the 2ww is so hard. I hope these next few days go by quicker for you. Hang in there and fx for you!!
Me 37 MH 40 - TTC since June 2010 - dx with Severe MFI. Straight to IVF with ICSI. IVF #1 - ER 06/13/12 - 9 Eggs Retrieved - 4 ICSI'd - only 2 fert. 06/15/12 - 2DT - 3 cell & 6 cell with fragmentation. Beta 06/29/12 - IVF #1 = BFN. 07/20/12 - WTF Appt -Told by our RE to quit IVF. Second Opinion from RE is good. IVF#2 - November 2012. Estradiol Pills Started 11/6. Stims start 11/16. ER 11/26 - 7 eggs retrieved - all mature. 4 fertilized with ICSI. ET 11/29 Transferred 3 embryos. Beta is 12/10. 1st Beta 81 2nd Beta 160 and 3rd beta 360!!! First U/S 12/21/12 - We saw one beautiful gest. sac. 2nd U/S is 01/04/2013 - H/B 183 02/05/13 - NT Scan - everything looks good and IT'S A BOY!!! EDD 08/19/12

Waiting sucks so bad! My ET is (hopefully) today and my beta will be 12dp5dt as well.. I think I'll POAS a few days before that though..

Me: 35, DH: 36, ttc: 3+ years, dx: unknown
10/11: after 2 years, saw a RE, FSH 5.4
11/11: BFP! (surprise after thyroid med & normal hsg),
12/11: missed m/c after 7 week u/s,
1/12: D&C,
6/12 IUI #1: clomid, 5 mature follicles, excellent sperm,= BFN,
7/12: IUI #2: clomid, 3 mature follicles, excellent sperm= BFN,
8/12: IUi #3: clomid, 5 follicles, = BFP!, C/P
10/12 IVF #1: FSH 5.4, estradiol AFC: 14, long Lupron 150/bravelle75,5R/5M/4F, all 4 made it to 5dt, 1 blast and 1 8 cell transferred. No frosties. BFN
IVF #2: AFC 21, MD lupron 12/25, 225bravelle/150men, 4R/4M/3F, 5dt of 1 blast BFN
IVF #3: natural start antagon, starting 3/30, ER 4/11, 12R,11M,10F

My beta is Friday, 10dp5dt. I talked to my nurse about my HPTs and she said I could come in tomorrow at 9dp5dt if I wanted to. I decided to stick with Friday though. 

However, most people I see here do a follow up 2 days later. My RE does a follow up FOUR days later?!!?!?! FOUR?! WHY OH WHY?!?!?!?!

DH cancer diagnosis/surgery 06/09
MESA 09/09 before chemo/rad. 5 vials frozen
Met with RE 08/29/12 eval sono = 15 follies on the right, "at least" 12 follies on the left
IVF w/ ICSI tentatively scheduled for January
Call from nurse, because of a cancellation IVF starts in OCTOBER!!!
Stims should start 10/20, ER estimated 10/29 Start BCPs 9/15, Lupron 10/7
10/20 Lupron (5), Menopur (75), Follistim (125)
Estrogen through the roof, after trying different tactics to lower it, RE decided to coast for 3 days
Final monitoring appointment: 27 follies on right, 19 on left
ER 11/1 21R, 19M, 10F
ET 11/6 2 beautiful blasts. 3 frozen
11/13 +HPT! 11/16 Beta #1: 183; 11/20 Beta #2:832
U/S 12/5 TWINS Two heartbeats!
