Just curious about the length of time it took for conception with each baby.

ETA--I just realized this makes no sense bc you aren't KU up.

So let's start over. Ladies TFAS, how long did it take you to get PG with the 1st baby? And what cycle are you in now TTC the next baby?

We are TFAS but we haven't conceived yet so I can't answer. I'm hoping it doesn't take as long as it did the first time though.

We haven't gotten lucky yet, but DD was a surprise. I am expecting TTC for number 2 to take longer.

Happy I wasn't the only one confused by this. This only makes sense of you're TTC #3 or more.

With DS, I got Implanon out the end of Sept, no period in Oct, pregnant in Nov. Bam, bam, bam. 

Second pregnancy, pretty much the same. Stopped the patch in Feb, got pregnant in March, m/c April. 

I'm now on cycle 7 since the m/c. If this cycle is it, it will be exactly 2 years in between kids.

2 years for DS.

Technically we are on our 2nd cycle, but have been working with my RE in prep for FET since June.

2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!

With DD I had a BFP less than 3 weeks after we stopped using condoms. I'm on cycle 11 and month 16 now. Waaaaiting.
TTC#2 Since July 2011
Me: 29, had two blocked tubes - left was cleared during lap&dye, right was unable to be cleared. PCOS & Stage 2 Endo. DH: 31, SA = perfect.
CLOMID: 4 rounds, 50mg + TI = BFN's.
FEMARA: 1 round = no response.
12-24-2012 : Laparoscopy, Softball sized cyst/endo/scar tissue removed.
Cycle #14 - Feb 2013 : 50mg clomid. Ovidrel Trigger. IUI on 2/14/13 = thin lining, multiple cysts.
Cycle #15 - no meds, still have cysts, no follicles. Boo!
Forced break. Continuous BCP for 6 weeks to give my jacked up ovaries a break.
Cycle #16 actively trying: May/June plan: Femara, Ovidrel Trigger, IUI! Bring iiiiit!

I was lucky and got preggo on our first month trying with both of my children. This is month one tycoon 3 so we will see what happens.

I can answer your original question since i'm ttc3 : it took about 9 monthd to concieve my DD, and i got KU with my 2nd after my first pp which was 6 months after DD was born. It's been about 3 months since my first pp since DS was born, and i just started spotting today.

1st cycle with our son.

So far 5 months for this child.  Only cycle #3 cause my cycles are way too long.

It took one year/9 cycles for #1, but I had 2 miscarriages in the year.  We just started trying for #2 - still waiting for first AF.

Started TTC #2 12/2012 on Arixtra due to Lovenox/heparin allergy

For DD= If took 2 years (1 year of trying on our own + 1 year of IF treatments)

For #2= We will hit the year mark of trying on the 24th. I'm just not ready to go back to the RE.

2nd cycle then I m\c at 11 weeks

2nd cycle after our doctor said we could try again i get pregnant with DD

We are TTC our 3rd. Both our children were wonderful surprises. We weren't trying but weren't preventing either. My kids are 18 months apart.

I really didn't realize what all went into trying to conceive. I had no idea about temping or anything! It is all so new to me even though I have two kids already. This is only our second month trying.

First cycle TTC DS= success!

Now on cycle 7 month 8 TFAS.

I had in my head it would be as easy as the first so we even "planned" which month we thought would be great to have a baby! 8 months later, I'm pissed we were so naieve and I just want a baby, regardless of when it will be born!

DS was a "surprise" so I guess it took one month.

C/P was also a "surprise", so one month there too.

Currently WTO on what is technically our second cycle.  We did try one month over the summer, which obviously was unsuccessful.  Since we are actually planning it this time, I'm sure it will take forever...

I will say we were lucky the first time - it only took 2 cycles with DD. We are on cycle 3 now. I know neither amount of time is long at all, and I remind myself that I'm almost 2 years older...

DD took 4 cycles, with the cycle prior to my BFP ending in a m/c

On cycle 5 moving on to 6 for the second.

DD was a surprise.

This is cycle 2 TFAS. The first month we "tried" we totally missed my FW, so we're not counting that cycle. So this is the 2nd month we are trying that we know we're hitting the O days.

6 years ago it took 5 cycles (8 months) to get pregnant.  My cycles were crazy long, and I got pregnant on CD48. 

This time I'm on cycle 12 (month 14) and still not pregnant.  My cycles are very "normal" now (I O'd yesterday on CD14).  I have my first appointment with an RE in a few weeks.
