TTC - cramps & bleeding a week later..

Hi Everyone! I am new here and happy that I found you ;-).

I hope someone will have an advice, idea or similar experience to my current issue posted below. I started to read the posts here but have not seen a similar post yet.

We are currently ttc. My last period started on the 18th of Oct. We ttc on the Nov. 3rd. Only two days later, I have started to get cramping, pulling and bloating in the abdominal area. This has been like this since that through today. A week after ttc I also started to bleed heavily. This is a week early then my regular period.

My belly cramps and it feels like there is constantly something going on. My back hurts a little and I am also constantly seeking some food. I called my OB since this is all very weird and I have no idea what is going on but she told be me to wait until the cycle is completed.

I have not experienced such symptoms in my first pregnancy so I am a little bit worry that something is just not right. Wonder if anyone else was in situation like that… Thank you!

Hi. first of all, read the newbie link please.

It is most likely that your ovulated early, and therefore your period came a week early too. If you don't chart, there is no way of knowing. Even if your period is typically predictable, it is possible to have a strange cycle. I don't think you are pregnant.

If you are pregnant enough to have symptoms, you would be pregnant enough to get a positive pregnancy test. Take a test if you are unsure.

If you've only been TTC for a week then it's doubtful that anything other than some random bleeding. If you've just come off birth control strange things can happen.

Did you ever get a positive pregnancy test? If not I'd say its breakthrough bleeding or an early AF. It happens. Unless you are in unbearable pain or bleed through more than one pad an hour I would say ride it out.

TTC is a real confusing mind game. Good luck.

They actually make tests you can take at home to see if your are pregnant or not.

OP, please read the newbie link. I would seriously hope you aren't asking a bunch of strangers if you are pregnant.

Yes, I've experienced getting AF a week earlier than expected and I have also experienced "phantom symptoms".

So what are you looking for us to tell you?

Thanks Ladies.  You sure are fast.

Yes, I have tried the early pregnancy tests but this was before the bleeding started so it maybe to early.  So I wanted to wait until the bleeding stops. 

I never had such an abdominal pain before. Not even after C-Sec. So I am just worry that something is wrong with my body and wanted to check, if anyone possible had anything like that too. I also asked myself already if this is all in my head.  I guess I wait for the pregnancy test and see the doc if the pain will not stop in few days.

 And yes, Happy Tuesday! 

Believe me I do feel kind of weird asking this here.Embarrassed
