movement question again

So I have done three kick counts in the past 24 hours.  Question how intense is your movement at 35-36 weeks.  I have noticed a decline in the intensity.  I can still feel movement but not as intense.

What did your doctor tell you was ok/not ok?  I wouldn't be surprised if the movement got less intense, the baby has less and less space to move around as it grows.  As long as you're feeling movement, I would think you're fine, but if you want/need to, call your doctor.  That is what they are there for...

I've heard both. Personally, my baby kicks the crap out of me constantly, so hard it looks like it's trying to break out. He or she wakes up around 7 am, kicks around for the rest of the day, then chills out once I lay down at night.

ETA I'll be 37 weeks on Friday.

Did you try chugging a juice box and laying down? My doctor says ANY movement counts. I'm only 33 weeks but I almost never feel actual kicks/punches it's mostly squirmy feelings and hiccups [both of which count]

My movement has decreased BUT I can still feel at least 10 movements in a 2 hour period.  If I were you I would chug some cold OJ and go lay down and focus on movements, if you cannot get 10 in 2 hours I would go to the doctors.

don't over-analyze.  As long as you feel some movement you know the baby is ok.  Kick counts are silly.

How active was your baby before 35 weeks??  You probably won't feel "kicks" as much as rolls and just movements in general.  Now..my baby moves all the time, stretches, kicks, you name it but every baby is different.  3 kicks seems low in my opinion but just ask your doctor about it.  If he was really active before 35 weeks and then suddenly only a few kicks here and there in 24 hours, that would be something that I would want checked out.  If he wasn't a very active baby to begin with..then it's just him getting bigger and having less room to move around.

My kick counts were all over 10, I did three separate counts in the last 24 hours.  Sorry for the confusion!!!!!  I srtill feel movement but no jabs, just mild rolls.  I just wanted to make sure things like mild stretches etc were ok.  It is just a difference i am noticing!

My ob says it is normal for movements to change ( I just got an email from the nurse) and she didn't tell me a number, just that as long as there is movement it is ok.
