My DD was unplanned, I was actually on BCP at the time and very busy with school, so hadn't noticed I was late and wasn't expecting anything at all.  Started having symptoms, did the calendar math, realized I should have had AF by then, and tested at probably 9-10 days late for AF.

First BFP =/= First child  (miscarriage,  etc)

Both my children were unplanned. I didn't find out until I was 12 weeks with my first and 8 weeks with my second.

My first bfp I had the faintest line at 11dpo but didn't count it as a positive until the next day.  At 12dp I had a clear positive and confirmed on digi.

Bfp number 2 was a clear positive at 10dpo.

BFN at 11DPO

Barely readable BFP at 12DPO (amazon cheapies)

The digital tests were negative for me until 14DPO

And my c/p I had my first BFP at 10DPO

I had a similar situation. I was also on BCP, and I realized I hadn't had AF for a very long time. Then tested to be surprised with a BFP.

Mine was 11dpo, but it was a clear + and I also got a +digital that AM so I expect I probably would have had a BFP earlier than that, had I been testing.

I had a positive beta at 7dp6dt (13dpo) and tested at 14dpo/15dpo and got 2 lines and a + digi

I said 13+ DPO because I have no idea. We weren't charting and I was totally uneducated about my cycle. I had been off BC for a few months, I actually POAS before I left my house to pick up my new prescription on a whim. 
There are too many weirdos on TB.

My first pregnancy at 13 DPO which ended in a CP. I tested daily from 10 on.

My second I am not 100% sure when I Od. FF says I never did.. Which clearly isn't true since I have DD to prove it. If I had to guess I would say 12 DPO

SS = Special Snowflake (aka: I would choose a different option than the one provided given).

 

I voted for 12 dpo, but I feel that's a little misleading.  It kind of implies that I had BFNs until then, but I didn't.  I didn't test until 12 dpo, so who knows what I would've gotten on 10 or 11 dpo.

SS stands for special snowflake. It is added as an option in clicky polls for people who don't feel that they fit any of the other categories.

I tested when my period was about a week late, so approximately 20dpo. The test line turned colors before the control line did! We had had a lot going on that week that was stressing DH, so I didn't want to add the stress of "we're having a baby!" to his week until I was pretty sure! And I was out of town and didn't want to tell him over the phone. So I waited until the weekend. If circumstances were different, I'd probably test around CD15 or CD16. I hate seeing negatives!
