sore calfs.

so last night i woke up bc my calfs were sore and i got cramps in both of them. i would sit up & rub where it was hurting and it would go away.

i did work a 10 hour shift monday, and my job requires me on my feet pretty much all day..i only sit when i find time or am on a break. I believe my legs cramped monday night too.

today my right calf feels more 'sore' then my left. but they both hurt. It just feels like i worked out and this is the aftermath.  should i be concerned?  maybe im just getting too big/heavy for my body for me to be on my feet all day? i haven't gained that much weight yet, not even 10 lbs. is this something to bring up at my doctors appt in two weeks?

The same thing started happening to me earlier on in the week. I walked around a lot a day or two before my legs started cramping, so I figured it was from that. I had an appointment today and my OB just said to keep up the fluids. Also, I ate a couple of bananas and it seems to be much better so maybe you're just low on potassium!

I have the same thing going on, I heard natural remedies of drinking pickle juice (yuk, I love pickles but not drinking that juice) and a banana right before bed would help with leg cramps and swollen ankles.  It has been working with the cramps although my ankles are still swollen within an hour of waking up.  GL

My legs have cramped on and off my entire pregnancy, my poor husband gets such a fright when I wake up groaning/screaming from the pain. My grandmother says that when your muscles cramp its because they are thirsty.

Ask your doc. I am on magnesium supplements. Cleared them up and I was getting them every night.
