MR.&Mrs:Yes she really said 9 months without a period. I went over a year before I was diagnosed by another doctor. There aren't a lot of ob's that my insurance carries. And I will call after 60 days if they don't call me back.
Were you TTC at the time? I have a feeling maybe there was a miscommunication on this. Once they call you back to schedule your annual, talk to a nurse or someone and ask them what their protocol is. My doc said to call after 60, but then she had me actually wait until 90 just to see if my body could regulate itself. It did at day 74. Now, she wants me calling by CD35 if no O. I would just have a conversation with them about what you should be doing.
If they say wait 9 mo with no AF, knowing you are TTC, get a new doc.
