Should I be worried?

This is my first pregnancy so I'm not sure what so expect but I have almost no symptoms .. I should be so relieved but I'm kind of scared because ppl keep saying how common miscarriage is and I'm sure this isn't normal and it's taking forever to get into the Dr. any ideas whats going one? Anyone else (not) deal with this?

I was just thinking the same thing - I have just been EXHAUSTED, but that's it.  I'm sure we and our babies are perfectly fine.  I guess we should all count our blessings that we aren't miserable! :)

Pregnancy is different for everyone. With number three I hardly ever felt pregnant, but when I did, it hit like a ton of bricks. It was usually the second tri. Good luck to you.

Don't worry I am feeling the same way. The only symptom I have really felt is sore boobs.

I am not even really tired. In fact, I've been having some insomnia!

Don't be worried.  As you will hear time and time again, every pregnancy is VASTLY different.  Sometimes women are sick from week 1 (well, technically 3, I guess ;) ), and some women don't feel a thing until they're huge (and then the symptoms are pretty obvious).

It is true--miscarriages are unfortunately very common, but symptoms are NOT a reliable way to know if things are going well with your pregnancy.  They will come and go and change and taper off and then hit you full force.... or never show up at all.  All you can do is live a healthy lifestyle and get proper prenatal care and hope for the best.  Chances are, things will go great for you and your baby!!

You are totally right; everyone's pregnancies are different and it's really nothing to worry about.

But I mostly posted to tell you your doggies are ADORABLE!

Don't worry about it! I had no symptoms with either of my two kids and they are perfectly healthy 5 and 7 year olds! I have a few symptoms this time (sore boobs, mild crampiness, etc) but nothing major.

You're worried about a miscarriage because you have no symptoms? That makes no sense.

thanks everyone I feel a lot better about it knowing I'm not the only one :) the reason I was worried is that people have told me ms (among other things) is caused by a hormone the baby needs so if I don't have it the baby might not be healthy... I think maybe they didn't know what they were talking about ;)

It does make sense, if you aren't having any symptoms of being pregnant you worry that your pregnancy may not be progressing as it should. Obviously if you aren't having symptoms of a miscarriage then you are not currently having one, but there can be a length of time from when a baby's heart stops beating until your body naturally miscarries.

I'm in the same boat. First pregnancy, 6 weeks along and no real symptoms to talk about. And my first scan is not until 2 weeks from now. So of course I'm worried out of my mind that something is wrong...

DH thinks I'm a little more emotional than usual but that doesn't really comfort me - I want to be nauseous dammit! lol. Be careful what I wish for right?

OMG please do not wish that on yourself! It's so much more terrible than anyone talks about! Wish for big sore boobs instead. :
