Baby is going to sleep sooo early!

My daughter just started going to daycare this week since I went back to work. Since then, she has been going to sleep between 6 and 6:30 pm when her usual bedtime was between 8:30 and 9. I'm wondering if she's just overwhelmed with being in daycare now and the new routine? Or is this something I should be concerned about with my daycare provider? Any thoughts?

I don't use daycare and LO now wants to go to sleep at 7 when before it was 9. He naps plenty during the day.

Well since her daytime schedule has changed (DC vs. being at home with you), I'd expect her evening schedule to change as well. 6-6:30 is a normal bedtime. Both of my boys go to bed at 6:30.

Did you just sense she was tired and put her down really early one night?

Is she waking up a few hours earlier?

Is she napping less at daycare?

But I don't think it's abnormal.  At 2 months DS wanted to go to bed at 10pm.  By 3 months he wanted to be in bed by 7.  At almost 15 months he still goes to bed between 6:30 and 7.

I really wouldn't worry about it if she seems happy otherwise.

ETA:  DS has never been to daycare.  We've always just followed his cues and he adjusted his bedtime on his own.

6-6:30 is a much more normal bedtime for a LO. DS is asleep by then every night.

I notice when DD1 goes to daycare, she is much more tired at night. She has gone since she was 4 months old, and this has always been the case. There is just a lot more stimulation and action at daycare than at home.
