Anybody tried this...Feeding Gear

http://www.amazon.com/Skip-Hop-Feeding-Plate-Utensils/dp/B001KA3JGG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1352985154&sr=8-3&keywords=skip+hop+plate

Just curious what you thought of it.  Did it really reduce the mess of letting a LO feed him/her self?

I don't think ANYTHING would reduce the mess of letting DS feed himself.  When he's done, he clears his plate by tossing everything on the floor.  The step right before that involves smearing all remaining food on his head.

The Little Green Pouches have been the best for us so far.  DS wouldn't let us spoon feed him after 7 months.

We had the most success with the Beaba spoon that rotates. I also like the Boon squirt and the Plum Organics spoon for the pouches. I think the plates that suction do help bc at least the plate doesn't get thrown, but the food is still fair game. I don't think this Skip Hop set up will do anything for less mess.
