Not sure what to get my DH for Christmas...

I was planning on getting him the new Call of Duty but he went out and bought it the day it came out, so I'm at a loss of what to get him. My dad suggested getting him some new power tools, but my DH is really finicky about his tools, so that's out. What should I get him?

Going to need more info on the man.  We don't know his interests, hobbies and preferences other than he's picky about tools and bought Call of Duty.  Is he a gamer in general or exclusive to Call of Duty?  Does he like to drink higher level liquor?  Golfer?  Hard to make a call on such things if we don't know what he's into.

He's all over the place about what he likes. He likes traveling, art, he likes working with wood, and old books.

No suggestions other than that. I don't even know what I want for Christmas much less what someone else might want.

Best I can give without more info is My Little Pony Season 1 on DVD.

EDIT: Didn't notice you gave more info.  That's what I get for being a smart ass.  Is there anything he could use for when you guys travel?

I know it isn't quite as sexy as getting him a new tool itself, but if you come up empty, why not a gift card to the store in which he buys his tools, so he can select it himself, but you still get to buy it for him?  I know gift cards aren't quite as exciting as the gift itself, but its an idea.

Other than that, don't know much of what to get him under the travel category unless he needs new luggage.  Art and books, combine the two and get him a really nice art book?

 I could wrap just the case and put a note inside like "I wanted to give you this but you beat me to the punch" The disk hasn't left the Xbox since he got it.

I don't know how/where his gaming stuff is set up, but maybe you could do some gaming headphones.  My wife got some for me so she didn't have to listen to everything.

Gaming with headphones on is a good time for sure.  I love my PS3 bluetooth as well.

You can also get gift cards for whatever network he would online game on.  I.E. Sony Playstation Network.

I would get him some books if he likes to read, a different game, or how about some movies?

 With us looking at child #2 and the expenses to go along with that, that may be our gift to each other especially since MW is going to try and finish up her Masters degree so we will be taking a decent income hit for about 15 weeks.

I saw an ad for a re-release of old school Atari loaded with about 70 games. That may be a funny gift if he was into video games in the 70s-80s. I may get it for my brother for a fun party toy.
