DD won't nap :(

She is clearly exhausted yet for some reason she will not go to sleep! It's driving me nuts. Yesterday she woke up at 9:30am, didn't nap once and was still bouncing off the walls at 11pm!!! I don't know if I can deal with that again, I'm so freaking exhausted... mama needs a nap.

When do you try to get her down for a nap?  Do you have a nap routine?  DD goes in her sleep sack, has a bottle then paci and has her sound machine on.  She seems to know those are the cues for sleep times.

This was us for the last few days. DD was just playing in her crib at nap time so I was going in and getting her.  Yesterday afternoon I left her in there for a while and she eventually fell asleep.  Same thing this morning.  If your DD isn't hysterically crying in her crib maybe you could leave her for a while and she'll go to sleep?

We don't have a set "nap time" but she tends to nap at roughly the same times every day and I just watch for her to give me cues, but as soon as I pick her up and put her blankie on my shoulder she snuggles in and knows it's time for a nap. She gets her blankie, paci, teddy bear and sound machine... normally that's enough but she just wasn't taking to it. She just sat in there babbling for a while and then she started screaming.

Today she's back on schedule though, thank god!
